But I've seen some still with Ryan Reynolds and he doesn't look like that. My only guess is that the action figure is how he will look in the present, and Ryan Reynolds is in flashbacks.

 

Yeah... someone on /co/ said that Deadpool's role in the movie originally belonged to Weapon XI, but FOX decided to cash in and reshot a bunch of stuff with Deadpool instead. Fucking bastards, all of 'em.

Also, they've made Deadpool a mutant

 

I come in here expecting somethin epic to happen, and I fin it. Confirmation of Deadpool.

But then you go and rape me while I am enjoying my childhood memories.

Meh.

On one hand, Fox has made Deadpool so ooc it's bizarre...I can't even begin to understand their logic on this one. On the other hand, I didn't really think Reynolds would deliver the wisecracks properly - so maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

But if they don't want him to speak...why pick a comedic actor in the first place? Fucking strange...

 

I like Reynolds and though I always thought him better as The Flash (cheesy lame jokes SH) I think he would of done an OK Deadpool.

Why did they go to Midway and steal Baraka from the Mortal Kombat series to be Deadpool? Not putting him in red and black tights is one thing, but this?

Ok, this might not be as bad as everyone thinks. The few stills that were pulled from the trailer are worrying, but the comic and action figure could be misleading here. Deadpool could still have a mouth and even the swords the way he was SUPPOSED to, it's not like Fox has released a trailer that shows a scarred Deadpool. Comics and action figures are often a far cry from the film, thankfully. I'm worried as much as anybody, but I'm not giving into disappointment yet (but then again, this is Fox we're talking about).

My impressions? Relatively well done - a few surprising Cyclops scenes. You get a few more clips of Deadpool - although nothing substantial, unfortunately. Still can't tell on whether or not they stitched his mouth shut or not, though.

My misgivings surrounding the casting of Sabertooth probably aren't going to go away until I've seen the movie, but the trailer's looking good for him, at least.

And Gambit is fucking awesome. They at least got something right, and the amount of screentime he got in the trailer is hopefully indicative of how much he gets in the movie.

Final thoughts... well, I'll give the trailer 4/5, and I'm looking forward to the film.

Deadpool's swords are coming from his arms and his mouth is sewn shut.

 

Yea the trailer looks great, but that's what its designed to do. Look good to get people to go see it, that said I am sooooo going to watch it.

 

Maybe that's like, the ENDING Deadpool. Like, we get a full 1 hour 45 minutes of Deadpool, mouth-un-sewed-shut goodness, then this one is like 'Remember me?' at the end of the movie, after Wolverine inevitably flash-fowards to post X-men 3.

Or it's Fox.

Here's Deadpool. Not the greatest but still an improvement imo, over that weird Powderesque creature.

 

What happened to him, he was a lot more buffer before.

Trailer looks pretty awesome to me.

I think the only reason to think this film is going to fail is if you actually care about the comics.

Since the movies > comics, I'm not really caring much.
