Voldemort just doesnt read like Voldemort. You might as well just find and replace Voldemort with Tom and tadah its suddenly a bit more believable.

Voldemort AKs Lily. Bad mojo, suddenly he's not as bugshit insane any more but he's now some kind of ghost thing.

Also 2nd chapter. "Beautiful child." "Beautiful grey eyes."

Feels like someone read a description and thought "Thats exactly how people describe themselves."
