If The Orange Box counts as one game, then I choose that. If you count each game inside, Portal cannot be beaten.

I enjoyed Assassin's Creed, and in fact haven't felt the pull to complete Bioshock yet.

    Yesterday's leftovers.
    The Orange Box (portal mainly)
    Bioshock
    Call of Duty 4 (amazing)
    Garry's Mod v10 (for Half-Life 2)

Oblivion was a great example of how not to make a RPG. Boring, and unfilled world without adding a cluster fuck of mods. I'd called Oblivion more of a starter kit for mod collectors, imho. Engine was uber bloated graphics weren't worth the load the demanded, few other major annoyances.

Assassin's Creed wasn't as fun as I had expected it to be. All those eavesdropping-by-sitting-on-a-bench sessions made it more tedious than it should have been. Sweet free-roaming though.

Heavenly Sword was the exact obvious, it was too short. :(

    1. Mass Effect
    2. The Witcher
    3. Assassin's Creed (360 version only, since the PS3 version is still unplayable I believe)

Enough said really. Those three alone make the case for a fantastic last two quarters of 2007 for games.

Mass Effect had way too many bugs to be my game of the year.

    LOL Nice Mid. Very Nice....

As to 360 Vs PS3 Assassin's Creed ... I own the PS3 version and have played both. I honestly don't notice any difference. Maybe It was just my friend's 360, but my PS3 seems to load a hair faster.

BTW: Portal is utter awesome. The Cake is a Lie.

The Witcher for Best RPG (even though I haven't beaten it yet  )

Call of Duty 4 for Best FPS

World in Conflict for Best Strategy

I'll give a silver medal to Assassin's Creed for innovation.. visually the game was great, and the free roaming was neat. If not for the tedious quests and such it would have been better.

Have they fixed the problems then? Last I read was a quote from PR saying they were trying to fix the random freezing and white screens of death but they had no idea what was causing them.

If they've fixed them then count both, I was just assuming it was still borked beyond all that is holy.

Yeah, I assume they did fix them. I have yet to experience any of them.

Well I got assasins creed for Christmas and Anubis is right the random freezing is still there. It's still a great game and has only happened to me twice but it is annoying as shit when it does happen.
