    My challenge is as follows:

    1. Muggle's become aware of Lord Voldemort and decide to fight back.

    2. Muggle weaponary is a must. Missles, tanks, gas, nukes... whatever you want.

    3. Involve some of the commonwealth (Australia, New Zealand etc..)

    4. Pairings can be whatever you desire.

    5. Voldemort starts to recruit wizards/witches in all of Europe.

    6. Correct names of the weapons.

    7. Be realistic.

There already is a fic dealing with that (The Dark Veil of Hatred), but in it Muggles are fighting against the Ministry & Hogwarts and not Voldemort (and Wizards don't stand much chance).

But yes, the idea of modern Muggles vs Wizards sounds interesting. I have long-term plans of including something like this in future parts of PR, but on a much smaller scale (soldiers of fortune vs death eaters)...

Hey, there's a reason why I never officially posted it for discussion - it's CRAP. But it still is the only true muggles vs wizards long story I know about.

lol I read the entire thing.

Then, I sobbed like a child. I was considering making a time machine just to go back in time and not click on the link.

But I didn't have any Double A batteries left.

Its a mass of paragraphs that often go off independantly of each other. It contains a average level power Harry who gets an insane boost to his power out of the blue, turning into super powered Harry. There's tons of filler material, and the author pulls demons Narcissans or something, out of his ass to mutate Voldemort.

It's not really so much about Harry, as is a brief seige to Hogwarts, and mostly centers around a guy who was possessed by Grindelwald, a evil entity, during the 40s. The twist you can see coming chapters away, and it's riddled with typos.

The sequel is constant mentions of previous years (20) that Harry was kept prisoner by Dumbledore, learning how to use his powers. Harry's lost most of his mind and acts like an idiot, loosing his temper over small things and talking to himself.

I can't beleive you guys are still talking about that shit...

I never actually managed to force myself to read it through but I did browse through some chapters, eager to see how he does battle with the Muggles... It was pure crap. Wizards should have cleaned the floor with muggles 1-on-1 - just conjure stone skin or shield and a few guard dogs to take out the soldiers, for christs sake. But no, they fire stupefys against commandos. Stupid, stupid, stupid... story's not worth shit except for it's original idea.

Aye, it has a lot of knife wielding commandos killing everyone, even little kids.

It turns out all the muggles were under the imperious curse.

Though it didn't really add up, because at one stage one of the troopers says "Jesus, they're just kids" as if he was free of influence.

The only person on the muggles that I noticed that was being influenced was that Gray guy.

But if the soldiers thought they were commiting the worst crime (killing kids) they would of refused to follow orders. They don't just follow a leader blindly.

Aye, and there are rules upon rules about how, when, and why a trooper can relieve his commanding officer of duty if his wishes go directly against the foundation of the order.
