I used to like Harry/Ginny fics...i've recovered now though. But judging by your logic there, doesn't that also mean that crossover stories in which harry is pulled through a portal that just appears into a whole new world are not credible either? At that point, the only thing that it has to do with the Harry Potter universe is just one character, namely Harry himself. In this case, you are rewriting the cannon of the adopted world around harry's presence, taking away from the story told there.


As for the fic itself...i tried to read it, but couldn't make it through the first two pages...the characters represented are just too OOC to even be enjoyable...i suppose i must yeild the point to Mr. Merriman and Randeemy at this point...this isn't fanfiction.

 

Crossovers are the bane of my existence. Especially since everyone wants to cross HP with the anime of the week, or shit like Star Wars.

 

I think the two best 'brother-of' stories are The Story of The Guys by The Proffesional and Unsung Hero by MeghanReviews. FF.net doen't have many good stories, though........
