A few years ago when RWBY was fresh to all of us there was a pretty big surge in stories that mostly petered out, were terrible, or went nowhere. A World of Bloody Evolution is the other kind. The summary tells you what's coming, and while it's a straightforward crossover mechanic RedrumSprinkles does it extremely well. They write fight scenes viscerally, and they manage to capture the feeling of a galaxy spanning Imperium. It's an overused term but this story is truly epic. The author claims it's about three fifths done, but honestly if they ended it where it currently stands I wouldn't change my rating and I'd still be satisfied. If you want to read 400,000 words of well crafted action and adventure you've got the links.

I've followed this for years, and it's great. 6/5, best RWBY fic I've ever read. Best 40k crossover I've ever read. Generally fantastic, with good twists and characterization and space!magic!guns.
