This weekend is the biggest AoE 2 tournament in 20 years.​

The hidden identities of the players is obviously one of the main draws. But for most of us, who have little to know clue of the scene, it won't differ from a regular tournament. The hosts are generally quite welcoming to people who haven't played the game in a decade or two. Or at all really. Although some familiarity with AoE in general will still help a lot.

So if you're interested in AoE 2, feeling nostalgic, or plain old bored with the quarantine, the steam starts at 14pm GTM/10pm eastern, and the broadcasts should continue till Sunday night on twitch.

I usually just wait for them to hit youtube, but this time I might actually watch the stream. With the last one, I watched all the matches T90 uploaded, then watched Viper all the way through, because it was still fun to see him try to figure out who his opponents were.

Heh, surprised to see AoE2 plugged here. T90's not my favourite caster, but if I had the time I would definitely be checking this out. Been missing Nili a bit lately, he doesn't seem to be casting much lately.
