WTF?

If you leave that as a one shot then it was utter crap. If it gets expanded on then it could be interesting depending on what the actual plot is.

 

If Creb turns out to be a mispelling of Vincent Crabbe, I'm the fuck out of the there, but for now I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

Creb is the name of the most powerful Mog-Ur (I think thats how its spelled) of the Clan of the Cave Bear. He practically raised Ayla, who is the main character of the series, and can do a form of magic that mostly deals with illusions and minds and such shit.

 

This story isn't based on that movie about a little girl that lost her whole tribe, and had to fit into a new one is it? That the one where she uses men's weapons in secrete, saves a kid with it, and has to live on her own? Never really liked that movie much, dunno, didn't keep my attention very well in the movie.

 

Its actually based on the excellent series that a poor film was made from.

 

So it is then...wtf's the author gonna do with a plot like that movie? Make Luna the woman, Harry her son? That'll be a weird plotline, no?

 

There are, I believe, 4 books written so far in the series. Plenty of places where Luna could join in I suppose.

It sounds like it was set before COTCB, unless the author has some sort of a fetish for teenage girls and crippled old men...

Alright, now that I've read it, I strongly suspect that I shouldn't have.

Awwww, it's romance.

Between an old crippled guy and a 17 year old girl.

Let's not even go there. The writing is okay, but the whole thing is a little squicky for me, and I read all Marie M's contributions to the WTF? Fics thread without wincing.
