Considering how much effort (well from a human POV) to create a Terminator that could kill the Connors when the first was overkill already I think they like being thorough. Besides we've seen Skynet interrogate humans before.

And I think you're not giving wizards enough credit. Anyone who can turn a terminator into a box of staples deserves special attention. And yes I'm assuming normal transfiguration rules apply.

Voxyn!Terminators would be fucking awesome. They provide a valuable counter to wizards, they would probably get a bit uppity wouldn't they?

It could create interesting Civil War-ish situation, where the wizard rulers are slowly getting whittled away, to the satisfaction of the lower grunts.
