I was just wondering, what would have happened if Lucius Malfoy slipped the Diary to Harry instead of Ginny in CoS? Basically, with nobody to stop the attacks, Riddle grows stronger and completes the ritual where he takes on a new body. I know it's not exactly a ritual but I don't know what to call it.

Harry's body dies but because of the Horcrux inside of him, something goes wrong. Harry and Riddle are stuck in the old Tom Riddle's body.

From there you can take it where you want, but I think a parody might work best. I've never read a fic with this idea, but for all I know there could be a few out there.

I've always meant to read that, but I kept putting it off. Seratin is owned by laziness. :)

Still, a parody version in the vein of a black comedy could have some potential.
