I actually liked it and look forward to seeing an update. Sadly I looked around the site and saw no reason to sign up there, so no author updates for me. I really like the world we're given I do just wish the outcome wasn't already decided. I mean if Hermione can single handedly own the best the ministry can send then what do you think the chances up here little terrorist group being equally as godly and just going on a murder spree at the celebration? It be different if Harry was somehow able to stand up to her, but even if they dueled it be a waste as Harry hasn't progress magically at all since DH.

The problem with this story is the author; she hates men or doesnt have a clue how we think. We get it! Hermione is perfect, and has suffered so much, oh boo hoo...

A real man would have AK`ed the bitch and raped her body, I mean fuck she talks to much.

 

I can't stand how Harry is in this fic. When I read it, I get angry. Harry is stupid and a huge pussy. I can see Hermione doing the Nova thing, sure. But the problem is that the idea is excellent, Harry is just a fucktard. At least give him some real abilities, make him still a better duelist than Hermione... Or you know, not as if he was frozen in time for ten years.

 

Well, assuming he did just go off and hide, leaving behind everyone, his view of people is ten years out of date.

Then again, i would expect him to have grown up quite a bit more in some ways. One doesn't become a teacher, and live for 10 years in small communities without learning some better social skills etc. As yet though as we've only seen harry with people he knew before, and around whom therefore he acts as he always did, it's probably kind of hard to see that.

I hope, in the next few chapters, when Harry truly (and yes finally) get's it into his head what's changed, we might see the person he's grown to be emerging from beneath that 17 year old shell!

What a complete waste. I can't help comparing it to Perspicacity's recent short story, and finding it severely lacking.

It seems to attract bad and ironic luck. The real problem is as good as the fic is, and it has its points, that it is designed mostly for Herms and Ginny to have some girl power going for themselves.

 

And ass rape anyone that stands in their way.

This Harry is not a Pussy, he just isn't the type to throw spells around when he doesn't know what is what.

In fact, he acts much more mature than in the books, and doesn't look so much like a dipshit as in many so called "independence harry" stories.

Hermione is maybe very strong, but it's not really surprising to me (in fact JK's nerfing of hermioen was @_@) and she has LARGE faults. She is mentally unstable, and has lived ten years without true equals (though with people she can trust) so she has an over-inflated views of herself.

However, it's quite clear in-story that Harry is severely shaking her up.

Harry is coming back after ten years, and having lived quite a few of those as a muggle, and the rest as a teacher, it's not surprising her is more mellow, but shaken and unsure of what is happening.

Harry is no pussy, he just isn't a 17 yo moron anymore.

It also heavily hinted that he is stronger than he appears.
