Dark Heart Challenge

Here is the Challenge:
1. Harry learns through a dream or vision that he is a chosen of sorts for the dark side or heartless of Kingdom Hearts. He is the heartless' master. (in that he is the master of the darkness, his heart is not devoured by the heartless, ect.) Also, the Heartless are unconditionally loyal to him, like house elves.

2. The main idea for this is that by locking the keyholes in the game, Sora is throwing off the balance of light and dark, thus inviting entropy.(sp?) Harry must open the keyholes on worlds that were not sealed, thus restoring the balance.

3. There must be a eventual confrontation between Sora and Harry.

4. Harry must travel to at least one alternate universe or world in the course of the story.

5. The fic must be Anti-Ginny and/or Anti-Dumbledore. :twisted:

6. Harry must make at least one ally on each world he visits, who will travel with him and his companions trans-world.

7. Since Harry has the darkness, he dosen't need a familliar.(sp?) He may have one near the begining, but it must be killed of either before he goes cross-world, or in the first world he visits.

8. If you choose to include a pairing, it may not be H/Hr, H/G, or H/D

9. You may choose to destroy Voldemort or he may join up with Harry, but you must include him in the story.

10. There must be at least one fight scene in each world.

11. The rating must be T or above (movie rating PG-13 or above)

I'm sorry I included so many terms, but this has been swimming around my head for a while now.

Er... That is a lot of terms. Why not write it yourself?

 

It sounds pretty decent, if it wasn't for the fact I've never played Kingdom Hearts nor the GBA game released subsequently. Its an interesting way to explore new worlds and storylines though, but a non-KH player like myself doesn't really understand the keyholes part of it.

 

The terms of my challenge aren't really rules per say, more like guidelines. And I won't write it myself because I'm a horrible writer, even though I have a lot of ideas.

 

I like Kingdom hearts...if someone writes this..I'll read.

 

Now if only the english version of Kingdom Hearts 2 would be released then I'd be happy. Happier than I already am at least.

You could still try writing if you wanted to. I mean, how bad could you be?

Stained-future bad? No?

Black Roses in the Moonlight bad? No?

Then you'll be fine. Besides, you could get a co-writer or something.

This is a good idea. Just need the writer to try to explain to the non KH-players what KEYHOLES, HEARTLESS and who SORA is. Good luck to whoever takes this challenge up.

For those who are Kingdom Hearts newbies:

Heartless: Creatures of the darkness who prey on people's hearts. They seek the heart of the world, so they can destroy it, or consume it in darkness, or whatever it is they do to it. When a world's heart is consumed by darkness, the world is destroyed. My avatar is a picture of one of the heartless, one called 'Darkside'. There are also small ones called 'shadows'.

Keyhole: The 'doorway' of sorts to the heart of the world. Keyholes are used by the Heartless to get to the heart of the world. Sora can seal these with his 'key' so the Heartless can't get to the Heart.

Keyblade: A.K.A the 'key'. The weapon weilded by Sora, the 'Keyblade Master'. The Heartless are afraid of it, according to one of the NPCs. Sora's friend Riku also competed for the title of 'Keyblade Master', but lost. (this was late in the game) Sora found the weapon on his homeworld of Destiny Islands as it was being consumed by the Heartless. It's basic form is called 'Kingdom Key'.

Sora: The main character of KH. He travels from world to world with his friends Donald and Goofy sealing the keyholes with his keyblade. (btw, you can kill Donald and Goofy off if you want to, I never really liked them.) He also travels the worlds in search of his friends Kairi and Riku. I speculate that Sora is in love with Kairi, but I can't be sure.

Riku: Personally, I think Riku is much cooler than Sora. It turns out that Riku was originally supposed to be chosen by the Keyblade, but when he decided to join with the Heartless, the 'Key' judged his heart too weak, and went to Sora instead. As Sora looks for Kairi, Riku has already found her, and is working towards rejoining her heart with her body, thus bringing her out of her coma-like state. At the end of the game, Riku helps Sora close the door to Kingdom Hearts, but in doing so, is sucked inside, along with the 'King'.

Ansem: Once the wise ruler of the world of Hollow Baistion(sp?), Ansem discovered the Heartless and experimented with the hearts of people. He was consumed by a lust for infinte power, and belived he could find it in the Darkness. His phisical body destroyed, Ansem was only a spirit that lived on darkness. Late in the game, Ansem possesed Riku in one of his plots to gain ultimante power. Ansem was completely obliterated at the end of the game when the door to Kingdom Hearts opened.

King: The 'King' is actually mickey mouse, and he also has a keyblade. I'm seeing a recurring theme here. He and Riku are locked inside Kingdom Hearts at the end of the game. At the begining of the game, he leaves Goofy and Donald a letter, telling them to find the 'Key'.

Hollow Bastion: Besides the things mentioned above, it is also the home of most of the Final Fantasy characters present in the game. That includes Squall, Yuffie, Cid, Aerith, and I suspect Cloud is also from there, although he is a very minor character, and you only see him a couple of times. Hollow Bastion is a huge castle that, as far as I can tell is surrounded by endless water. near it are also some impressive waterfalls callled the 'Rising Falls'. there is nothing special about the waterfall, if you don't count that they go up instead of down.

There would be a lot more, but it would be best if you just buy and play the game, as it is very complicated.

As to if Harry is evil or not: You can make him evil if you want, but what I was thinking as I was writing the challenge is "Sora and the other guys are going about it the wrong way, but they don't know it. Also, I was thinking of Sora being like Ron in the Anti-Ron fics. As in, "Everything Dark is Evil and must be destroyed!" He's destroying the universe but he dosen't know it. You don't have to write it that way, but that was where my idea came from.

Also, if you want to attempt the challenge, and you need ideas for worlds for Harry to go to, I can put up a list of worlds a lot of people might know. Please let me know. Thank you again guys!
