Allright. I was watching CoS on tv last night, and I suddenly had this idea.
Watch the movie as it's a little different from the book, and i'm basing this off of it.

What if Harry had died in the Chamber of Secrets after destroying the Horcrux diary?

So, this Challenge is as follows.

1) Harry must be believed to be dead from the basilisk's bite. -ergo Fawkes does not heal him, and Dumbledore also believes him to be so.

2) You can let Ginny live or Die, your choice, although personally I tend to lean to the Die selection, but that's just me.

3) Salazar Slythrin himself must somehow come into play.

4) Harry must be the heir to some prominent family other than the Potters, if not Slytherin.

5) Harry CAN NOT be a bloody pansy, and he is a Dark wizard. The usual ideals, kill or be killed.

6) Voldemort returns using some other means in what would have been Harry's fourth year, at the end of the Triwizard Tournament.

7) Harry must reveal himself to the wizarding populace in 6th year, Hogwarts/no Hogwarts your choice.

8) Must be extremely advanced in magic FOR HIS AGE. Nothing overly ridiculous.

9) Must have Slytherin character.

If Time-travel is included, make it unusual and original.

 

There was a fic were Harry died in CoS and came back, can't remember how though, or what the fic's name was.
And i think it was poorly written
Let me see if i can find it, but this is a good challenge.

 

I remember a fic where he was bitten by the basilisk, but then he turned into a basilisk himself (with Slytherin's basilisk being his mother or some shit like that).

actually this might be the idea that has been wandering through my mind a few weeks ago...

i kept thinkign about the chamer and Ginny... she's dead...

then a storyline popped in my head but i lost it due to a dose of sugar which made me go crazy...

why i was found wearing a black suit with a red scarf wrapped around my head is still a mystery...
