"Of course you won't be murdering anyone. You're just going to bring escaped souls back to Hell. You know, like a bounty hunter. That's cool, right?" - Satan.

In the television show Reaper, hapless protagonist Sam Oliver finds out that his parents sold his soul to the Devil before he was born, and is now obliged to collect souls who have escaped from Hell. The show mainly takes place in the Seattle area, but it is heavily implied throughout the series that Sam will soon be sent elsewhere in order to fulfill the Devil's commands. And now, Sam is ordered to collect a particularly nasty repeat offender; the man's soul has been to Hell and back far too many times for the Devil to be patient any longer. The man in question? Who else but the dreaded vampire Angelus?

    Requirements:
Must take place after Season Two (and the series finale) of Reaper, and sometime before Season Four of Angel.

Sam must attempt to capture Angel's soul initially, though whether or not he succeeds in doing so (temporarily) is up to the writer.

Both Angel Investigations and Team Reaper must begin with serious misconceptions about the other team's motives. Sam holds the title of Reaper(and is also the son of the Devil), while Angelus was known as the Scourge of Europe. Having the two teams to research on the other with nigh-identical shocks of horror would be nice.

Sock being who he is, must attempt to hit on Cordelia, and Fred. Results should be typical.

That being said, I'm a huge fan of Reaper. I would have thought crossing it with Supernatural would be a far juicier alternative.

Reaper is one of those series that are just begging for fanfiction because the protagonist is so damn inefficient about getting shit done. But this is not the way to go about it.

I mean, seriously. Angel and co are way above the paygrade of Sam and his bros. What Sam would face for a season finale, Angel would face and defeat before the first commercial break of a regular episode. And that's before trying to fit together the Lovecraftean many-dimension mythology of Buffy with the Bible Lite of Reaper.

...To many details, then? Sorry, I've never posted a challenge before.

I suck at writing. But since I have some scenes in my head, and they are refusing to get out, I'll try to work this into a story.

    Any feedback would really help.
