To see how it end's. Once I've started to enjoy something I have to see it through the end...It is an annoying habit of mine.

As for Naruto gaining power that is part of the reason people will keep complaining. You just know Kishi is going to come up with the most retarded way of Naruto gaining power on his own when he got next to nothing with a teacher, who's credential's exceed anyone else's including Oro.

And kakashi and the wood guy kept training him for a week. Kakashi even said during that time period, Naruto will succeed Yondaime while the wood guy very much doubted that statement.

From Jiraiya's quotes we got that there is some sort of warehouse presumably filled with items that can help Naruto learn individually. The problem with that is that Naruto never has been a scroll type of person, he requires demonstration's, something he can't do alone. Like I said with Jiraiya he hardly learned anything but on his own he comes back super powered.

They were good when first introduced but Naruto needs to settle down and start using them as he obviously is far too obbsessed with Sasuke. Now they just seem like a cheap idea that Kishi came up with when he realized how powerful Sasuke was compared to Naruto and Sakura. Honestly a cheap version of sharingan comes to mind.

 

Hold on a minute, you are assuming here. Assumptions can mislead you everywhere. What makes you think he isn't a "scross type of person?" In one of the chapters, Naruto knew a sealing jutsu where he packed all his raman and kunis and shit away using his sealing jutsu. Sealing jutsu's arn't exactly used in battle much and so far, Naruto didn't need to use it much.

Also, in the manga, it explicitly stated that The sharingan and the Wood clan were the most powerful bloodline in the world. Which was one of the reasons why they warred together. And so there isn't really any reasons why you should hate sasuke. All you hate him for is because he seems to be stronger than naruto and thats it. Seems pretty shallow if thats all you think about.

And at the time, Shodaime was stronger and envyed by Uchiha madara. That goes to show you Kishi doesn't "Wank" on Sasuke. Sasuke is a major part of the story. But thats it.

And can you show me which chapter that said the wear house filled with items pat?

My favorite character is Uchiha Sasuke.

I just love how the manga spends all its time on him. I mean, God, there were at least two volumes devoted to looking at Sasuke sitting around after he defeated Itachi. That just shows how uber-cool Sasuke is. The author is a genius for concentrating so much of his time on the Uchihas.

And Tobi is so much cooler as Uchiha Madara. Uchiha ftw.

And as for the characters I like?

Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Anko.

Shodai Hokage is now one of my favorite characters since he smacked an Uchiha around like a bitch.

Throughout the entire manga, there are people being astonished at Naruto being so good, seeing as how he was so horrible in the academy.

One could even suggest that showing that he isn't a failure is one of the central points of the story.

 

I tend to look at the simple first. Naruto, has always been a hand's on type of learner. You know, the practical stuff. I don't see him learning stuff from a scroll as effectively as he could learn from Jiraiya.

Personally, I think that is here Kishi fucked up. In part 1 Naruto learned thing's as quickly as possible from Jiraiya, while he was also not being spoon fed by him. Then during the timeskip he learns next to nothing? See, that is where it started to crumble.

 

I'm not entirely disagreeing with you, he does seem like he would be more of a hands-on leaner... But "He had bad grades" is certainly not indicative of any problems learning from scrolls.

For example... Scroll of Seals? Kage Bushin in one hour?

 

Okay, first of all, naruto was forced to grow up in an environment where everyone hates him and there not afraid to show it. He was never "spoon fed" as you say. In many of the flash backs during the exams arc, it showed naruto working hard to accomplish something which no one who wants to willingly teach naruto.

And he was never spoon fed by the hermit. He was a tough teacher in fact, who keeps giving him hints and examples and then leaves for brothels while leaving naruto to figure everything out on his own.

And you talk about naruto failing in the acadamy as if it was his life line. In the flash backs, naruto always skipped or fooled around classes because none of the teachers favored him. It was the opposite in fact. But that is one of the reasons. You shouldn't take this manga so simply. Its more than just that.

 

Oojou, Bucks said that Jiraiya wasn't spoon feeding him. He just worded it more complicated than normal.

As for no one willing to teach Naruto; correct me if I am wrong but I don't think that there is any canon evidence of teachers deliberately sabotaging Naruto's schooling. I just can't see Sandaime letting a teacher do something like that. Naruto was studying scrolls and practicing hard because he is a slow learner when it comes to shit he isn't interested in; i.e theory, history, math etc.

If Naruto finds something that interests him and puts his all into it he has the ability to surpass even the greatest of geniuses, but he doesn't. Only select things interest him so he doesn't focus on sharpening everything like a natural genius, like Sasuke or Kakashi, would. I guess you could call it Naruto's version of ADD.
