And Im not disagreeing with you but that still doesn't explain why they felt the need to lower his movement speed. It's not exactly like he was Speedy Gonzales or anything.

He was the fastest ADC, joint with Quinn and Sivir, and considering he had 50 and 75 range over them respectively, I think it's fair he is slower than those two.

Eh I guess, it still seems pointless to me but to be fair I should admit Varus is one of my favorite four champs along with Rhengar, Darius and Brand so I might have blinders on.

So I'm pondering the idea of jungle Nunu lately, as I never really build like a carry even when I pick up the majority of early kills - Potentially could go RoA but it feels like such an expensive item on someone who can be easily nullified due to CC on his ult.

How would you guys go about building him? I've ran over a few idea's and I'm rather fond of Mpen reds, armor yellows, mr blues and 2x AP quints with 1 MS quint, or maybe just 3 MS/AP quints, not too sure.

Standard item build for a support jungler, it's masteries and maxing where I start to confuse myself.

Skill wise I imagine you start consume (seems obvious) and then go something like R>E>W>Q, potentially going for a lvel 2 buff steal if you think you're fast enough, taking W over E at 2 maybe.

As for masteries... 0/9/21 or 0/21/9 seem the most logical choices, though the ganks seem somewhat weak damage wise, albeit you provide a stupid amount of slow/speed-up to compensate - not ultimately sure which I'd go with, guess it would depend on team comp.

Edit; Watching a few ranked games with Jungle Nunu's lately, seems like maxing Q first and going for Spell Vamp Quints with CDR blues, Madreds and a Visage and you can do Baron on spawn with 1 other person assuming they have good Baron damage, kinda relies on lucky procs though by the looks of it.

Just accidentally a triple kill as Thresh support. My carry was not amused. xD

Nunu's ult isn't used for damage, it's used for the slow and to zone out the enemy team. It's a giant red circle that says "STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY BACK LINE". If you eat a CC for casting it, that's awesome. It's one less CC for your squishies to worry about.

That was my general thought on it given the radius on it and the fact that it's hidden when cast in a bush, I just know from my experiences on support Nunu generally people get a hard-on for stopping you, so I guess it works out.

Hmm, can afford to give it a go once I figure something out rune-wise I suppose, no point thinking up these things if you don't try them.

I do rather like the new Morgana skin, though it seems odd to give her yet another one unless she's in for the Riot treatment that follows on from a new skin/sale - the coin-toss of buff/nerf, though I'd argue Morgana's in a fine spot and borderline broken at times with her black shield in the right team comp.

I have played seven games of League today. In every single game there has been an afker. In three out of seven games, I had a teammate who trolled because he didn't get the role he wanted. In two out of seven games, I had enemies whom I ended up muting because they were incredibly rude in all-chat, both times clearly duos who thought it was hilarious to insult the team they were beating 5v4.

Even worse, after no less than five games my client crashed immediately, and I didn't even get what little satisfaction I might have from reporting them.

I love the gameplay and I love the strategy and I love the champions but I fucking despise the toxicity in this game. During the school year I had a group of friends that I played with, and it's not nearly as bad when you're duo, and the game is just a blast in ranked 5s. But now people are busy and I can't even have fun playing this game anymore.

I'm not sure why I posted here, I just needed somewhere to vent.

    tl;dr community sucks, hurr durr

I really don't know how you have such awful teams.
I get an AFKer in 1/30 games, if that. And rarely are those malicious ragequits/fountain-trashtalkers.

I don't see leavers/afks that often now, just people who dc/don't load into ARAM or do load but fuck off for the first few minutes.

The most recent SR game I played, I basically carried the ADC as support while the jungler called and made all the plays, utterly destroying top with his ganks while I kept the enemy bot lane at the gates until he came down. Very nearly lost it when Varus ran in front of everyone into the inner turret while top laner went after dragon instead of pushing, but committed dives salvaged the game from a sloppy enemy team.

What pissed me off most about SR is how often people would run around like headless chickens, with no idea how to take objectives, much less how to close out a game, and no sense of teamwork. ARAM makes it all simple with one lane to barrel down.

So I've been playing a bit as Lissandra and Jesus, if you build her right you just wreck some damned faces. I had no particular interest in her before but I just might have to buy her now.

I'd be careful about buying Lissandra straight away, they're looking at hitting her up-front burst on the PBE currently, something to do with building her tanky but her kit still doing great burst for an AP mage. Not the exact quote, but that was along the lines of their thinking.

I'm probably one of those people who run around like headless chickens, so I have to ask you: How do you learn to do the things you listed?

How would I learn to take objectives? How would I learn to close out a game? I think my teamwork is pretty good, at least when I can communicate. The last game I played had three Mexicans that laughed at me when I tried to use my three years of Spanish from high school.

I get what you're saying but that's fine with me. It might sound a bit odd but for me if I buy a character it's not just because they're powerful, I only buy them if its a character I really click with for lack of a better phrase, nothing about it is awkward you just automatically easily know what move is going to work the best in any given situation without having to think about it. Im not sure if that makes any sense but that's how I see it at least.

Magic penetration is OK, but not great for jungle Nunu because he only has Ice Blast for magic damage. Penetration doesn't do anything for Consume because that does true damage.

Run attack speed reds instead, along with the usual armor yellows, movement speed quints and whatever blues you have lying around. Attack speed helps your early clear a LOT as well as your sustain by stacking up Visionary faster.

Fair enough, I did wonder why people had AS reds on Nunu, I'm thinking far too much about trying to do damage with the ult rather than just using it as a zoning tool, just play it like a support with emphasis on counter-jungling.

Krogan - Yeah, I know exactly where you're coming from, just thought I'd mention it anyway.

Sooo I haven't been on League much, lately, and what is this talk about Lissandra having too much burst while building tanky? When she first came out, I thought everyone was complaining about her lack of damage to compensate for her truckloads of utility?

I can definitely see why they're looking into nerfing Lissandra's damage a bit -- the first time I played her, my strongest impression was that her CC was good, but her burst was really surprising, even without building in that direction. She's definitely a fun champion to play, though. Her abilities feel very fluid, and, as I'm pretty sure everyone whose played her has mentioned, her auto animation is smoooooooth. Overall, I'm really pleased with her, and I also feel like she should be 'balance-able' so I doubt she'll just get nerfed to oblivion and forgotten.

Could you say her auto-attack animation is smooth... as ice?
