    I think the adc buffs are not nearly as drastic as people seemingly think. I'll have to wait on PD to be enabled, but so far nothing I've played has seemed overwhelmingly stompy.

    The adc buffs aren't THAT gamebreaking.

    What IS gamebreaking is the destruction of Tower resistances and the skewing of minion effectiveness to the favor of the winning team.

    I think the tower change will be reverted. Fast pushing lane swaps will be a thing and Rito will change it and or dragon's importance to counter that strat. Dunno yet.

    If you can get to a tier 2 tower before 15 mins you will absolutely wreck it. It has 0 armour and mres so a fast pushing champ, like Yasuo, can probably take it down in 10-15 seconds. As Ryze I took it down in about 35 or so seconds. If a team is indecisive around Baron or Dragon, you can probably get to an inhib or get an inhib within 2 minutes.

    I've been following the Sven drama.

    I think that Regi is an asshole, but a competent owner. Regi and Rich both cherry picked things that made them sound good and went public for PR. The real one at fault is Sven. He agreed to H2K but went to TSM when he got a better offer. Yeah, H2K's ultimatum was dirty, but perfectly legal.

    I do think that TSM won the PR side handidly, though. Rich went public first, but the edit and "I'll tell your mom" seemed pretty bad, while Regi had a much more impressive counter, even if it had some emotional manipulation (but we promised to wait a day! He betrayed our trust!) and accusations or harassing the family.

    The minion pushing changes aren't yet on live by the way.

    And the rift herald should shit on anyone trying to kill it solo, as it is meant to be at least a 2 champion objective. One to tank it on the front and one to hit it from behind, as hitting it on it's open eye wrecks it pretty damn quick. We were able to take it down on level 6 with Malphite Shaco combo with basically only Shacos jungle item for equipment.

    ADC's are stronger this patch than they have been in a long time, but let's not kid ourselves, the real terror-lords are actually Yasuo and Tryndamere with that fucking heal 15% from crits mastery. ADC's still need some set up/protection to carry, as it should be.

    Really like the new ADC items and how masteries play into it, but that delayed-Gold one seems to come too late to matter and not provide the kind of sustain regular lifesteal does.

    Yeah, Cull feels so useless. Either you're in a lane where having that makes you vulnerable and you get rekt and you need a Doran's, or you want Doran's anyway to push your advantage.

    I've seen Sneaky buy Cull if he was forced back before he could buy any items. Seems alright if you've already got a Doran's and don't want to buy another.

    3 Life on Hit versus 3% lifesteal on damage after armor reduction...? Cull is almost definitely going to out sustain a Doran's Blade until nearly the time it gets fully consumed anyway.
    With the reductions to base and per level AD on ADC's, at least. How many ADC's have more than the ~130-140 AD needed to heal 3 life on Doran's 3% life steal before getting 100 CS anyway? Crits aside.(and Warlord's Bloodlust Crit healing gives plenty of crit healing on early crits anyway)

    The real differences are 7AD vs 8AD, which is fairly negligible and 400 eventual Gold vs 80HP.

    Heck, I've been trying out the new Quinn, and I haven't felt like it's a bad option yet, even with her short range. I do run Life Steal Quints and the Mastery(compared to .55AD per level, meh), though, so there is that.

    -----

    I didn't see the note about tower defenses in the patch notes, but that does explain why they've been dying so quickly... Good to know.

    -----

    Re: Quinn:
    Hmm. I do stand by the opinion that she's in a harder position when behind than before, due to the lack of a Blind, primarily. She's also going to have a much harder timer in an ADC laning position now, due to even worse in-lane trading, especially with several AD's getting minor to major amplifications now.

    I have mostly tried her in her now intended role in Mid and... it kind of feels like Akali. Weak early laning, but progressively stronger and more mobile as the game progress.

    Is it like the old Quinn? Not at all. Honestly, not at all. Is it fun... eh, kind of, yeah. It does take longer in the game before it becomes 'fun', than Akali does, though.

    It is kind of amusing to almost exclusively use my R to move around after level 16, and after 11 if I've got my Essence Reaver and/or a Blue Buff. No boots, just Rapidfire Cannon, Shiv and ult for my movespeed.

    I've been running:
    Cull
    -> BT
    -> Essence Reaver
    -> Rapidfire Cannon/Static Shiv/Infinity Edge(all three, in semi-varying orders)
    Finished up with one of:
    -> Yoummuu's Ghostblade/Death's Dance for damage amp
    -or-
    -> Last Whisper-item for anti-Armor
    -or-
    -> Mercurial Scimitar for anti-CC/Magic, or Maw against non-CC Magic damage

    Not having access to Phantom Dancer, I haven't tried it yet, of course, but it will likely replace either Shiv or Cannon once I can. Then again, I've hit someone for just over 1,000 magic damage once with both Rapidfire Cannon and Shiv(Crit!) proccing at the same time. Combined with my passive proc, it hit for just over 2.3k damage combined, which was amusing. That and while PD has minion-ghosting, it doesn't have movespeed outside of combat, and in-combat movespeed isn't really one of Quinn's weaknesses either. It mostly depends on the value of the damage reduction passive vs Energized procs.

    Likewise, I've considered Hurricane for one of my 30% crit items(100% crit full build regardless, for that 2.93 cd passive, among other things), but haven't built it yet.

    Life Steal quints, life steal masteries, and BT first? That's interesting. I thought the meta was pretty heavily pushing towards ADC's being crit machines.

    The Sven drama is almost like the Deandre Jordan mess, still should be interesting to see who else TSM add.

    Man I really don't like Svenskeren but I do like Doubelift.

    Not sure what team I'll be rooting for next season. :(

    Eh, aside from getting an early Brawler's or Coat for 10/20% respectively just to trigger the Warlord's Bloodlust passive, early crit really isn't all that useful without some AD to back it up. The extra AD from BT also makes her passive a lot more impactful since it scales purely off of total AD, rather than having a base damage value + bonus AD scaling, like it used to.

    On a side note, if she takes damage, but it isn't enough to break her BT shield(such as from random minions or a non-crit bouncing Shiv proc), then her ult actually isn't canceled by champions or slowed by minions. I'm not sure if that's actually intended design, and I'm not sure if the same applies other shields such as Janna or Karma yet, either.

    That's how it works for MF and Strut, so I would assume it was intended.

    If damage is entirely blocked by a shield it doesn't count as the champion taking any damage. So for example your recall wouldn't be cancelled if the damage all got blocked.

    I just got absolutely demolished 2 games in a row with Lux. Someone please tell me which champion to pick as a beginner.

    No matter what champion you pick, you will always get demolished on the first few games. Soldier through until you actually learn each champion's unique mechanics, get used and comfortable on them, and figure out what item build suits you.

    I've played some Quinn, her damage is surprisingly strong. Her ult is just as strong as it sounds too.

    Her teamfight still sucks hard though. Her range is bad, she doesn't escape well and her assassination is meh. You can easily pick off low hp targets if their left unprotected, but it's hard to have an impact in teamfights.

    Overall they removed blind and the dump all in against other ad carries. But her roaming got stupid and her teamfight got even worse. So she's more one dimensional and frustrating in that sense.
