    Also keep in mind something else mentioned earlier in this thread -- up until the last year or so, Butcher was writing 2 different series concurrently (Dresden and Codex Alera). Now he's only dealing with a single series until he starts a new one, which is one of the reasons people think the estimates might be correct.
