    What is the largest age gap you will tolerate when it comes to Harry at the age of 14/15/16/17


    Harry/Hermione - A year older
    Harry/Fleur - 3 years older
    Harry/Tonks - 7 years older
    Harry/Narcissa - 25 years older

    If Harry is a child - under 17 - I'd say either 2 years younger or 3 years older.

    If he's 17 (and preferably out of Hogwarts, b/c adults dating schoolchildren is off-putting regardless of their age) then I guess the 'half your age plus seven' rule could apply as a general rule?

    But if Harry is a literal child then it's not enjoyable (imo) for him to be dating an adult old enough to have a career and/or their own children.

    While at school, he can date his own year-group +/- 1.

    Harry/Fleur can wait until he is out of school (18 or almost so).
    Harry/Tonks can wait until he is at least 21.
    Harry/Narcissa... I want to say never but I suppose wait until he is 25?

    For teens, it's usually don't be a fucking chomo and date a 14 year old at 18. Freshman-Senior couples always made me uncomfortable.
