The thing I'm most looking forward to in this movie are the special effects. A cool scene to see would be the seven Potters flying away from Privet Drive and the DE + Flying!Voldemort chasing them.

Radcliffe doesn't have the talent to film seven times the same character in the same scene, so I'm guessing it'll be an interesting thing to see.

I'm not sure what that last sentence meant entirely, but Radcliffe's actually a decent actor. Some him in Equus on broadway where he did a pretty solid job. He's not as solid as Richard Griffiths, but he's fantastic.

Either way, this one does look better than the others, but no way to be sure. They've found ways to fuck up all the other movies in all sorts of creative ways.

What I mean is that, to have 7 of the same character on screen at the same time, you would either have to use doubles, some make-up and special effects, or have the same actor go through each of the roles separately and then the editor would paste them together.

Kind of like Mike Myers played fat bastard, Austin Powers, Dr. Evil in his movie. The same actor did different roles and, when they all appeared in the same scene, he had to act three separate roles, which were later brought together by the editor.

Apologies for the double post, but I have relevant information!

    Cliffhanger revealed.

That's...surprisingly late. Part 2 should be intense!

If only the Department of Mysteries scene had not be raped... I'd have more hope.

Still, there is something in me that's got hopes for the Battle of Hogwarts. I think Taure said it in one of the other DH movie threads, but it does look like the final battle between H and V is the 'magical tug-o-war'. But everything else that happened has some potential to rock, and show Harry as competent rather than simply lucky.

(Yet, I still get this feeling I'm going to facepalm hard when Molly kills Bellatrix no matter how it's portrayed...)
