HBP, the OP's idea if full of fail and deserves a good flaming.

A Harry-as-Jigsaw plot might be possible, but the thought of coming up with a plot containing an OC (who'd most likely be a Stu) that for no reason is protective over Harry, able to outwit Voldemort and Dumbledore, can set Muggle traps that are resistant to Magic, and kills off people that Harry - wait, not Harry but the author herself - hates simply makes me puke. There's no way this plot bunny can be rescued from the abyss of fail.

The author has probably just watched Saw and thought, "Hey, how about we combine H/Hr, gore, and bashing together?"

Not necessarily. Fic could start out w/ Harry being a typical emo douche, cutting himself and whatnot, when he is kidnapped by Jigsaw in one of his twisted ideas about getting people to appreciate life.

Harry escapes using his (as usual) magical luck, and Jigsaw, seeing and wanting to know more about magic, takes Harry as his apprentice, carefully brainwashing him. Fast forward ten years when Jigsaw is dead and Harry is about to start taking his revenge.

    EDIT: Woot, 500th post!

Nobody could see past the plot holes and grammatical errors. When that happens all bets are off. Nothing needs to be said, other than the idea is a terrible one and they need to evacuate the premises. And while nothing else needs to be said, who can really hold themselves back on garbage like this? Everyone lets their frustrations out on somebody on this site at least once for messing up. This one is justifiable.

Like I said earlier lulz are done. This thread now belongs in the great recycling bin in the sky, or the HoS. I don't care. It's over and done with.

I'm sure Nobody could indeed. And I'd be fairly interested in seeing this, if a COMPETENT author took it over.

Well, actually, Albus Dumbledore would probably be quite easy to catch. After all, for some odd reason, he's never expecting trouble in the form of potions. You could knock him out with one...

The problem is, I've never seen a potion capable of removing a wizard's magic, and certainly, even without a wand, Dumbledore is both too powerful, and too well connected to stay missing for long...

You also have to use the fairly lame "Fawkes abandoned him a long time ago, but randomly shares the same fucking office still, even though he HATES dumbledore who is Evil! and Manipulative! and rapes small children, and eats babies...etc.

Or, you have to have some lame anti-phoenix ward, which doesn't really make sense, as there'd be no reason, or way to develop one, threy're such rare creatures.

Of course, it would be quite interesting to take this a muggle direction, and inject AD with heroine, or perhaps PcP, somehow get him to drop acid. If you did, then the puzzle could be far simpler, getting him to use magic in normal ways, when he was so far off-kilter.

So, in short, no AD. No LV. This could be decent, especially if it was Harry doing it, as has been mentioned before. Not evil, and geniuinely trying to show people the goodness of life, so long as they're willing to find out.

It wouldn't really be a revenge factor, unless he felt that the person didn't appreciate life.
