This troll Numbull thought he could be clever and challenge us all to write a Harry/Narcissa/Bellatrix or a Harry/Petunia/Lily. Well, by god, I've done both (although I left out Bellatrix because I'm only mortal, folks). And it's even believeable - although, as in all time turner fics, a slight suspension of belief is necessary. I hope you enjoy!

    AV

Upon going to Godric's Hollow, Harry, Hermione and Ron speak to a muggle couple that knew Lily and James Potter. Harry is astounded to find that they know where Lily and Petunia lived as a child. Time passes. Harry and Hermione finally decide to visit Lily's birthplace, not far from Spinner's End.

They search the area, talking to local residents to find out more about his mother and his aunt; Harry wants to know why Petunia hated him so much as a child, as he has a gut feeling that something went wrong more than the simple fact that Lily was born a witch. Without a clue that he is knocking on Snape's front door, he and Hermione walk head first into what amounts to a Death Eater stronghold. Bellatrix answers the door, and before Snape or Harry can react, murders Hermione on Snape's front doorstep.

Before Bellatrix can kill Harry however, Snape stuns him and fends off Bella, as they both know Harry has to go before the Dark Lord in order for the two of them to escape extreme torture, and possibly death. Luckily for Harry, Voldemort is occupied and will not be available for an entire week.

Narcissa Malfoy, feeling pity for the handsome young boy, begins spending a lot of time watching him - although Harry has no idea and is grieving for Hermione. On the night before the Dark Lord is set to return, Narcissa approaches him and offers him comfort in the only way she knows how.

The next morning Bellatrix fetches Harry and brings him before Voldemort. Voldemort lies on his throne, and a slew of Death Eaters are openly mocking the Boy Who Lived as Bellatrix forces him to approach Voldemort. Snape is not present, because he has been sent with a number of Death Eaters to strike Hogwarts (mostly because Voldemort doesn't trust him with Harry).

At the very last possible moment, Snape appears (using Harry's Invisibility Cloak) and saves Harry. However, they cannot escape through Apparation or Portkey, so they are forced to flee on foot. As they flee, Harry catches the glint of a time turner around Snape's neck.

Snape and Harry get to the edge of the wards, but Voldemort assaults them before they can apparate. Snape takes the brunt of the attack and is knocked cold. Rather than save himself at the expense of Snape, Harry runs to him, trying to drag him out of the open and behind the nearest house - the home that once belonged to his mother.

Too late he realizes that Voldemort is bearing down on him. Without his wand and defenseless, Harry thinks fast, and doing the only thing he can possibly do, snatches the time turner from around Snape's neck and yanks it off. He attempts to turn it back an hour, and hopefully save himself from Voldemort, but as it does, he is blasted by Bellatrix into the side of the house, smashing his head. Bleeding heavily and suffering a massive concussion, he sways directly into Voldemort's killing curse - which connects with the already moving time turner. Harry knows no more.

When he awakens, he is approached by a lively redheaded girl and a plain-looking brunette who must be her older sister. He is still injured, although it doesn't look to be more than a head wound, but he can't seem to remember who he is, or how he got there. Lily, the redheaded girl, recognizes the broken time turner around his neck and realizes that he must be a wizard - most possibly from the future. Harry agrees with this, but has no idea from where or what time he came from.

When asked about his identity, he admits that he doesn't know for sure. To the best of his knowledge, his first name is James.

Lily's family, at the urging of Lily and Petunia, decide to take him in at least for the summer. As it turns out, Lily had just finished her sixth year at Hogwarts - which immediately rings a bell with James although he doesn't know why - and she is going into her seventh year. James, is surprisingly quite talented with silent magic, although he doesn't know how he learned the spells and does not remember their incantations. After a few weeks of working on their magic (she is over the age and he is apparently untraceable by the Ministry) Lily reckons that he would be a seventh year as well.

As the summer passes, Petunia and Lily both take a liking to James. Lily often complains about his name, saying that there is another student at Hogwarts that has that name (as well as some of James' facial features, she laughs) who she can't stand. Petunia is studying to be accepted at a Muggle college but she is not as studious, or as prudish, as her younger sister.

One night near the end of the summer, Petunia sneaks into James' room while he, and everyone else in the house, is sound asleep. She removes all of her clothes and climbs into bed with him, surprising him, but quickly silencing him. He can't help but respond to her ministrations, and (though he isn't sure) he thinks he loses his virginity to her. Neither of them tell Lily about it, but their nightly exploits continue up until the beginning of September.

By now, Lily has encouraged James to talk to Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, and, after a long conversation with an extremely unconvinced Headmaster (and a Legilimency scan that reveals next to nothing about James' past), James is accepted for the upcoming year. Based on a number of exams administered by the professors at Hogwarts, he is deemed ready for his seventh year. The Sorting Hat even places him in Gryffindor.

For the first few weeks at Hogwarts, James almost exclusively speaks with Lily. He meets other people in Gryffindor house, and immediately takes a dislike to James Potter - the boy Lily has often talked bad about - and his friend's Sirius, Remus and Peter. He does, however, speak with Severus Snape from Slytherin, as he met him during the summer and struck up a hesistant friendship.

Lily and James become very close. Through her letters, James finds that Petunia has met an older man, Vernon, who has already graduated school and just started a well-paying job at a factory in her town. James concedes that he and Petunia will not be able to keep seeing eachother, and in fact, welcomes it. Besides, he is too busy with school (and putting together the pieces of his own past) to give a damn.

Time passes, James fast becoming one of the best students at the school. With next to no distractions, few friends, and one of the smartest students in school for company (and Head Girl to boot), he finds himself learning quite a bit. He is extremely proficient in silent casting, charms and transfiguration, and surprisingly talented in defense. Lily and Snape help him keep his Potion's grade and he coasts through his other courses, as he cares only enough to keep himself from failing.

When the winter approaches, James is invited to visit the Evans' residence once more, and happily agrees. Lily is so pleased she finds herself announcing it to Severus at a Slug Club meeting. James Potter is less than pleased, but respectfully keeps his distance, knowing better than to confront the fiery redhead.

All of the time now, James is experiencing flashes of memories that he doesn't understand. He tries to hide them from Lily, because in many of them, he has strange emotions that conflict with the Lily he knows. Despite it all, he comes to find himself more attracted to Lily than he ever was to Petunia, and what's more, he thinks she may feel the same way too. The only problems, he supposes are: James Potter, who as Head Boy spends an inordinate amount of time with Lily, and has even been surprisingly noble the entire year; the relationship James kept up behind Lily's back with Petunia; and those strange memories that he has not told Lily about.

James and Lily take the train to Kings Cross and find themselves alone all the way there, quietly carrying a conversation, smiling fondly and touching eachother lingeringly. Lily even falls asleep on James' shoulder, causing him to wrap an arm around her warmly. While she sleeps, a strange memory strikes him: one of a younger James staring into a mirror and looking at Lily and James Potter holding him. Startled, he shakes Lily awake, drawing her concern but passing it off as him falling asleep himself. When they arrive at King's Cross, the memory is more or less forgotten.

When they return to Spinner's End, James finds out that Petunia is away at college, and then she will be spending her vacation with Vernon's family - a sore point amongst her two parents. However, they are so happy to have Lily back that they don't dwell on it, and even lavish presents on James as if he was their own son. James is so thrilled to finally have parents, remembering that his own died to a Dark Lord when he was only one year old - a thought that jars him out of the happy occasion completely. When asked what is wrong he shakes their concern off and claims he is tired - but he doesn't convince Lily.

In the middle of the night Lily sneaks into his room, finding him still dressed and looking miserable. She confronts him about what happened hours before, and he spills his guts, telling her everything. How he believes his parents were killed when he was very young; how he believes something terrible happened in his past. He even tells her of the strange, but very real images he has of her and James Potter happy together - something she disregards immediately. She calms him down, wrapping her arms around him, and telling him that together they will work things out, no matter what. Eventually he decides to go to sleep, and says that she should do the same, but neither our willing to move. Slowly, their lips move together and they share their first kiss. Their kiss slowly turns into something more, something primal and passionate, and Lily declares that she wants him - James initially refuses, but her look of determination causing him to oblige, tenderly taking her virginity.

The rest of the winter break finds them in each other's arms, Lily apparating off to her bed when the proximity charm drawn around her parent's bed sounds.

When they return to school James and Lily are inseperable. However, James' memory is showing him alarming glimpses of another life; one where he is kissing another redhead in the Gryffindor common room surrounded by mysterious other students; one where Sirius Black falls through a smoky veil; one where his entire life is tainted by Voldemort - the same Voldemort who is just now rising to power in England. Scared and alarmed by all of these memories, he slowly becomes more withdrawn, and when Lily attempts to pry into his affairs, he lashes out at her. Tear-stricken and confused, she runs from him, his apologies falling on deaf ears.

James Potter consoles her, but James and Lily are still together - although the relationship has changed significantly. He explains that the memories are bothering him, but she doesn't fully believe him anymore. Every day they are getting worse - and he remembers enough that he isn't sure Lily wasn't his mother; something that provokes an intense and extremely unwelcome reaction in him. When he finally realizes that she is, he is sickened, and immediately withdraws from Lily - breaking off their relationship, and crushing her completely.

Harry Potter spends the rest of term hiding from the majority of Hogwarts, as his father and mother fall in love in front of him. The only person he speaks to is Severus, and even that is limited, as it has become obvious to him that Snape is already a Death Eater. When term is up, Harry moves far away, travelling around the world and trying to leave his past behind.

It is 1996 when he first hears of Voldemort's second rise. His life is in turmoil - he can never keep a woman, he is quick to fight, can barely keep a job, and spends most of his time drunk or chasing passing fancies. He knows more than enough to be nearly anything in the Wizarding World, but without even a last name, he can't do much to build a career. Women don't trust him beyond a few weeks, and his friends often turn on him before he can build a true friendship.

Fed up with his life and longing to be Harry Potter once again, he throws himself into a research project, learning as much as possible about time turners, possession, life and death - and wishing with all his heart and mind that he can become his younger self. A month before his set to turn back the clock, he decides that he can pull it off. Everything must be perfect, and his memory of what happened is sketchy at best, but he figures it's worth a shot.

He attempts to save Hermione, but gives it up as a lost cause - although not without mourning her loss once more. He waits seven days. He watches as Harry and Snape attempt to make their escape and readies himself for one shot. When the other Harry is woozy, just before the time turner was hit with the killing curse, Harry possesses himself. When he gains hold of his body, he slings the time turner to the ground and flings himself to safety, just dodging an untimely death.

He rushes away from Voldemort and, rather than face him with a busted head and surrounded by Death Eaters, summons Snape's body and apparates out of danger.

    -----

I probably could do more... but that's already like a 300,000 word epic right there. Dope shit though, right? I doubt you could come up with a better story that integrates Harry having sex with Narcissa, Petunia and Lily.

    Bitches. And Merry Christmas, y'all.

The sad thing is I still, occasionally, check for updates. >_>

Now, if you were to finish said fic, I could honestly say, "YES, I've definitely read 1 good H/L/P fic".

Just putting it out there. >_>
