ok this is what i was thinking to challenge you guys with:

*the invasion that happened in 2028 in the hellgate:london universe instead happened at the end of 5 year or start of 6 year.

*it was voldemort that set it of by trying to summon a demon for more power (extra points if you give voldemort a funny and gory death and/or become corrupted or something)

*the wards of hogwarts manages to hold the demons of for a while so they have time to at least try and prepare for survival

ok i know i'm not to good at this things but i thought i would give it a go, thats the challenge i got for you

 

Uh funny thing about that would be Harry dying because he was at the Dursley's and not one of the many better warded family properties, because according to Dumbledore that Blood Protection was so needed. Though without Harry Hogwarts could get overrun because they needed a parselmouth to secure the chamber of secrets in addition to the school's plumbing.

Basically Dumbledore has screwed over both Harry and the few that survive a bit longer at Hogwarts, for the sake of Blood Protection, that might not even work given the ritual in how Voldemort came back. Of course nobody ever claimed Albus Dumbledore was sane, right?

Also, flesh out the story a bit more, provide us with background and plot points.

"Voldemort summons demons who kill him and attempt to go after Hogwarts" isn't much to go on.

His English isn't that bad considering where he is from. Don't bash people for poor English when English isn't their first language.

Anyone who has played Hellgate would understand this and it would make for an interesting plot... if done correctly.

 

I hit edit and ran it through the spellchecker, took 8 seconds and it many times more readable.

The idea is excellent, someone jump on this shit NOW!

 

Some of the ideas are the same: I read somewhere that most guns in the game are just conduits for magic. (The ones that don't shoot bullets, that is.) Idea is a bit cliched and overused in HP fanfiction, but it is a parallel to the game.

 

Members of the Cabal (the current two magical class) do use focus that are kind of gun/glove. If you have seen Hell Boy think of the glove that Rasputin uses in the begining of the movie.

 

Cabalist!Harry.... that could be fucking awesome...

What if Harry actually invents the Cabalists? As in, starts the faction himself and with the help of some others discovers the new and powerful way to manipulate Hellish-Magic? Maybe he uses the Elder Wand to create the first focus...

Come on, Hogwarts!Army has some appeal to you guys, I know most of us hate the super soldier thing, but that's fixed by trapping them all in Hogwarts for say... 5 years.

Here's a teaser for a plot I writ up awhile ago, I have a lot more if anyone wants to see;

In the year 2047, in a small room on the bottom floor of a high security prison in an unplottable location in Siberia, beyond three silver-plated doors, six well trained and frequently rotated guards, and a great beast of inhuman power, lies the man-who-failed.




As it is a future!fic, I could see my plot integrating some Hellgate ideas quite easily.




Anyone interested? If I can get some support from peeps who know a lot of Hellgate lore I might be up to the task. It wouldn't be an Epic-Length fic though, as I intend to do it all between December 1st and 31st. Who knows, if the plot can be lengthened maybe I'll make it my main fic and let Constructing Destruction lie low for a bit longer.

EDIT: Now I can't play my Summoner without thinking about all the stuff I could use in my fic... goddarn it.
