I thought the episode sucked. Time Travel storylines always leave terrible plotholes. If future Peter is knows he fucked up with Clair, why didn't he go back in time and stop Sylar?

The shit with Claire and Sylar sucked as well. First we had an entire season where the whole plot was "Save the Cheerleder" or bad shit would happen. I find it funny how 2 seasons later the same shit happens and yet it isn'ta big deal. Also, the fact that she stopped him by hiding in a wicker closet, and tying the door with string was retarded. The guy can flip over a car, and he can't break a wicker door?

Mohinder's character has degraded terribly. First it was avenging his father. Then it was about finding a cure, and somehow all that is out the window and now he's become power hungry for no reason. I also wasn't a fan of the ripoff of Beast in his character.

WTF did Peter place his past self in the body of a maximum security prisoner. He obviously doesn't have powers in this new body, wtf didn't he just palce him in some random regular dude. The answer is just to further the plot.

Hiro was shitty too. The plot with the formula on the napkin seemed very forced and unoriginal.

Overall I think they had a lot of potential with this season but already I see it degenerating into a shit fest.

I'm thinking the formula on the napkin is for something like a genocidal weapon against the super powered people, or the actual way to give everyone permanent powers.

Yeah that part was stupid, but I take it as he was fucking with her, he could of gotten through it at any time.

And what the hell was with his ability to vanish the way he was when he was stalking her?

We don't know what are all of the abilities he took in season 1. That and it might be just for drama's sake.

I haven't been as big a fan since they ended the first season with all the characters meeting for the showdown...

I still wanna know if they'll find a way to bring back that irish chick peter left in the alternate future.

As for Hiro... I'm a bit pissed. Are they saying he can only slow down time to an almost stand still? Otherwise I don't know why he can't just freeze it, steal the paper, and maybe lock her in a cell for kicks.

Also Claire, she's down the emo road again... I thought we were somewhat passed that; also angry future Peter is annoying.

The only redeamable character for me is sylar. He's bad ass...

As for Suresh, I figured he was turning into spiderman.

    Theory time:

Sylar is Peters fraternal twin, thats why they can both absorb powers, even if they do it in different ways.

The serum to give normals powers will become like an addictive substance and normals need to harvest it from "heroes" to keep the fix.

Claires power is like HIV, once you get exposed you got it. Thats why Nathan is still alive. just her powers are diluted in him.

Oh and Nikki Was born with so many powers and she doesn't know how to control them herself so she partitions her self off into these seperate entities to deal.

Peter is now the anti Christ a.k.a he now has Sylar's power. Unfortunately for Peter the "HUNGER" came with it.

But what exactly IS Sylar's power? And what does it mean about the hunger? Syler can take others powers at the cost of there life. But how does he do it? What does he do and what is it?

And i'm beginning to hate Hiro. He has been so messed up with wanting to be a hero, he is letting shit happens for sake of being a hero! What the fuck?! He doesn't seem to have a single bit of common sense! Freaking idiot! He's just using the "Save the world" as nothing more then a scape goat to be a hero of something. GHA! i hope they kill him off for being a retard.

Thats the kind of idiocy thats going to destroy the world....oh wait?! It has. In the future.

Hiro was epic, but they've turned him into a little fag boy. Ando's got to die and die fucking now.

Sylar's power basically boils down to knowing how stuff works. He yanks apart their brains, "reads" them somehow and modifies himself to allow replication of their powers. Peter's an empath, same basic idea, but he doesnt have to eat their brains.

    Future Claire is hawt.

Gah! Am i the only one here thinks that Clair isn't hot?!

Hiro was epic. He was one of my, if not my favorite character in season one and now he's turned into this little...i just don't have the words to describe how much of a failure this one is.

And thanks for the info on Sylar.

Why, when we see the future, do so many people have the ability to fly? I thought each power was unique to the person who received it.

And if powers repeat like we've seen with Clair(e?) and Past-Healing Guy (and all the people who can fly), wouldn't that mean there would be people with powers like the Haitian that would be taking away everyone's powers?

Or maybe they can pick which power they want when they buy it. Seems kinda screwy though.

I am sure there would be some powers that were much more common and I would guess that flying would be a decently popular ability, as well as super strength

I dunno know why, or from what part, but this episode seemed to have a much more epic feeling to it then anything of last season had.

Peter's strange mouth distortion when angry is starting to make me amused.

Hiro is a retard. Ando doesnt bother me so much.

Sylar in the future was a bit WTF, did Mr Petralli (sp?) manage to turn him?

I think Sylars "hunger" is just a incredable need to want to know how things work. Every time he learns something it just makes him want to know more.

Sylars ability must be something more then just "I steal abilities from people". Peter already had that. But when Peter came and asked for help, Sylar hesitated to do that.

So either there is a big plot hole or there is something to Gabriel that was not revealed yet.

    PS
I really think that Gabriel true ability will be used by Peter to correct the future. Dont think that all that talk about actions and consequences while Peter was repairing the watch was for nothing.

We have known for two seasons what Sylar's ability was. It said in the first season that is power is the ability to almost automatically understand how things work. Presumably the side effect is the hunger for knowledge. My guess is not only does Sylar understand people's powers by checking their brain but he also read all their memories.

I'd imagine that in this future, the genetic code for mutation has been mapped to some extent, and thus you buy the power you want. Naturally, flight would be one of the most powerful as it is (for the most part) innocuous, and would not label the holder as an extremist. Aggressive powers would probably be kept off the market for safety reasons, and I don't know why you'd choose the Haitian's power (of nullifying others, that is), if you were purchasing an exclusive ability.

Apropos my own theories, Future-Peter wanted Past-Peter to have Gabriel's ability because it would make him able to do what is necessary. Peter's always been a character with a relatively boyish set of values, believing people with powers would use them responsibly, and thus needed something to motivate killing and the research of the underlying conspiracies. It'd make him obsess to save the world, more or less.

On Season Three itself, I haven't really enjoyed it as much as I did Season 1. Time seems to be the ultimate answer for just about anything now, with constant jumps back and forth followed by the Butterfly Effect as a rationalization of disaster. So many random events keep popping in and out, and the jumps to the future are only muddling what will (as with the past two installments) lead to a moment where all the answers come together. Maybe I'm jaded, but it seems really entropic and poorly hashed out at the moment. But then again, both of the other seasons were similarly sporadic.

Just watched the last episode, EPIC. And Clair, she's hot in a girl next door way, but nothing I'd beat off to. Future Clair is slutty hot, still not beat off to her, but you'd knock the dust off her twat.

Sylar in the future having his kid killed was a bit much, but awesome in a weird way. Peter now has the hunger, and he's always been an emotional pussy. Hell he killed Nathan in the future now, that's going to fuck with him. They should of had past Peter killed, and stuck Future badass Peter in his place.

Is anyone else confused why Future Peter did not just get Sylar's ability himself and then continue what he had been doing, he still was the most qualified of the two for the job.

Anyone notice that unlike in the other future episodes it is very ambiguous whose side is the bad side. Not only that but what is ultimately the cause of the end of the world? Whose side is responsible? It seems to me no one lived long enough to time travel and tell anyone what the hell happened.

Despite the time travel, prophetic dreams, and clairvoyant dreams, everyone isl no better then a bunch of blind men touching an elephant.

I guess that is what Sylar's ability is for, puts everything together.

I think they had to have killed the kid off because for one, he is irrelevant to the story, and having him killed was a necessary evil for the story to progress. Nathan isn't dead i think, Peter held off the hunger as soon he let go. The medics would probebly save his ass and come out alive. And the fact that he probebly has his daughters blood in him, thus reviving him back to his full health.

But one thing that bugs me, Clair says "Is that the President or my father talking."

Whats up with the family? Unless it was a political move by Nathan. ah, either way, the episode rocked. And the future Syler is sick! Way better then the old sadistic one, where the hunger is the only thing that drives him.

But best part of it all was the last one part. "Hiro, you son of a bitch!" Great stuff! The look on Hiro was priceless.
