I'm thinking in terms of joined land masses. And in terms of how cultures were thought to have migrated to populate specific area's.

I can see some heroes seeking freedom by escaping their homeland by traveling to america and other places, and depending on how those heroes who can really travel, through teleportation or flight or other nifty methods, they would not have been bound to boat or huffin it by foot.

But there should be some like the haitians farther who were revered and had it made with their powers. they probably stayed, knocked up as many women as they wanted, if they were dudes, had a shit load of kids he didn't really care about and so forth.

There very well could be a whole underground subset of heroes who find each other and try to stay hidden for their own reasons.

And the first person to actually try and turn that theory into a fanfic of harrypotter crossed over with heroes should be shot. With a magnum... up the ass.

I don't think Heroes could work too well in the HP fandom - powers are just too specific to each person for magic to not seem overpowered. After all, who cares if you can use telekinesis if a wizard can summon and banish things with just a wave of a wand? Or cut open someone's skull with a simple cutting curse.

The only advantage I see Heroes having over wizards is that their power appears to be more focused. Linderman didn't need any specialist charms to heal a person, he just needed to be able to touch them, and maybe not even that. Same thing with Sylar's telekinesis/cryokinesis and Matt's/Haitian's mental powers - aka Legilimency & Occlumency.

BP, you've lost enough of your edge that I feel comfortable trolling here again myself. Especially since I know that you frequent RC yourself.

I like the whole NBC Monday night lineup.

Chuck is a show that far exceeds expectations. There are some real geek references in that are very good. The show also has a good amount of comedy. The surplus of hot chicks is a major plus too.

Journeyman is another show that exceeded my expectations. It is a pretty good show. They are building the show and characters up nicely. There are also some intriguing plots in the show, like the guy who can call Dan in the future from the past. I might be a bit biased, because I like Kevin McKidd(Lucius Vorenus from Rome) but I think it is one of the better shows out there.

Heroes has so far been somewhat disappointing. The Claire/douchy flying kid storyline is the most cringeworthy aspect of the show.

The 8th painting depicting HRG's death has me interested.

The Twins(Maya and Alejandro) are just annoying though I do find Maya scary when she cries the Black Tears.

They have very little of Peter and Sylar this season. I hope they rectify that soon.

I'm not like other people who are saying the show sucks this year, but it definitely has room for improvement.

Slyar slamming the cup on Candice's head was full of win.

    Peter's amnesia is pure gay.

Claire going from understanding why she has to hide, to dating a guy she KNOWS her father fucked up, is just stupid. Bennet hiding the painting from her is stupid too.

And I'm beyond sick of Hiro. I liked him alot before, but his constant childlike naive act grates my nerves now.

Lets see more Sylar, and i can actually stand Parkman now, along with the Dr.

What I found interesting was Parkman's dad.

At the end of the last episode it leaves enough info to make you think that he may be behind the killings, but at the same time doubt that it could be him. I mean, after all, when Hiro's dad was killed the person who jumped with him was no where to be seen.

    I support Tsukuyomi!fat!bald!american!Itachi.

In any case, I'm purely watching the show now for Peter and Sylar development. Clare's only real purpose in the show so far is to give Peter uber!regeneration powers. She didn't do anything in the end of the first season either.

*thinks the way the irish!gangsta!brutha died was absolutely hilarious*

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too, Park's dad just implanted nightmare/false reality onto Hiro's dad and Ando and dude just jumped. Same with Angela scratching her face up.

I like Nathan a bit more this year, I still can't stand Nikki. Micha's haircut I just want to hold his ass down and wipe the grease off the boy, lol. He's got an awesome talent, paired with Hanna/Wireless, who he's met online already in the comic books, he could do some real sweet stuff.

Imagine a grown up Micah with a bunch of automated gear on him, if his power winds up evolving into controlling electricity and metal, instead of simply manipulating electrical impulses.

I do not know why, but when I noticed that the guy who killed Hiro's dad jumped at him and disappeared out of sight, and then we meet the boy with Claire, who can (fly) I had a distinct feeling that he could be the one murdering them. I mean, maybe he figured out what is going on after he was kidnaped, and pissed off, is going after their whole organization, it does make sense. If not, then, yes, his whole introduction is pointless and pathetic. With the painting however, with Claire being comforted by something, most likely him, it makes me believe that just maybe, the guy isn't all that he appears to be.

I hear you about Hiro, the only difference being that when he was first introduced, I disliked him greatly, and then as the first season progressed, I could tolerate him a little more. But now? now he's just starting to make me angry again. I had hopes he would tranform into the future Hiro we saw in the first season. Now I wish Ando had died, just to give Hiro the boost he needed.

I always liked Parkman for some reason, and that has remained constant for me.

Mr. Bennet still pisses me off, with his, "We can be open with each other now" and then continually hiding shit from his family.

I am liking Micah's story line with his (cousin?) and can't wait for tomorrows show because of her and what happens to her.

Edit: I'm sure everyone appreciates Peter's hair cut.

New season is pretty cool, though I really, really hate the flying kid. He just annoys me so fucking much, the whole of his storyline is just cliché crap any ten year old could think up.

I've always liked Hiro, and the storyline with Kensei seems to be shaping up pretty well and the control over his powers is pretty much sorted. I just wonder how much he would be able to control, since his power is space-time manipulation, and I wish he would stop screwing up his face to make it work XD.

Gangsta!Peter is something I've wanted to see since the future episode last season. Him stealing Nikki/Jessica's power is pretty bad ass, especially since he seems to have more control over his other abilities when he does.

Overall good so far, though I'm gonna wait a bit before giving up completely on the Claire storyline.

I want to see Peter and Hiro really man up and kick ass like the future ones did/like they show in the comics when they went to the future.

    Ando is unbeliebably gay

The last episode was probably the best one this season. We didn't get the douchey cunt of a flying kid this week at all. That made me happier than I have been all season. I sincerely hope Sylar kills him.

Peter's storyline finally went forward this week. I agree with MidKnight, we need a badass Peter especially after his chick's brother got killed because of him.

I look forward to next week when we finally get to see Bennet in action again. I have always liked him and the torture scene for tomorrow's episode looks to have some serious potential.

Hiro this year is very tricky, but I think his storyline will go somewhere this week. I think he will be Kensei as the real Kensei will betray him and be killed in the process. I think the sword can overpower Kensei's healing ability. Ando might break the homosexual charts.

The Micah and his cousin storyline is meh. I really don't know what direction they are taking it in and I really don't care.

We finally get moar Sylar this week and I look forward to it. I think he finally gets his powers back after he tries to steal either Maya or Alejandro's power.

Parkman's dad turned out to be pretty cool, but I don't think he is the killer.

Like I said earlier the show has to make some improvements, but in no way shape or form am I ready to give up on it.

On a separate note does anybody else like Journeyman, because I'm really liking that show.

    WARNING: SPOILERS
I don't know about you guys but I thought this week's episode was the best of the season. All of the plots, bar the Claire/West one (I still hate that kid), have progressed a leap and I've liked most of it.

Sylar's corruption of Maya is turning out to be fucking sweet, he might even get some ass too, just to piss off Alejandro :p. The way she killed those border hicks was awesome, and she seems to be gaining a measure of control over her ability, at least being able to stave it off for a minute.

Noah Bennet is probably my new favourite character, he can be a right fucking bastard when he has to be and the conversation with Claire meshed nicely with the torture session. Strange thing is though, the only thought I had at the time when that was on was "Oh, he speaks Russian"...

I'd like to say I was surprised at the Hiro/Yaeko kiss but I saw it coming a mile away. It was still pretty cool that he just said 'fuck it' to the space/time continuum like that :p. Takes a real man to seriously fuck up history.

Peter's storyline has the most potential that I see, and the next episode should give us a good look at how the future may turn out. The cryptic note from Adam seems to be connecting the dots between the characters, I'm looking forward to when Peter meets Mohinder in the future, cause I can see this 'apocalypse' being from a mutated Shanti virus.

Damn I can really go on, can't I. Still, it was a good episode and I'm restarting my Heroes countdown for the next episode :p.

    Spoilers below

Awesome episode, but I can't help but feeling a bit annoyed at the direction this new season has taken. One of my favorite things about last season is that it wasn't very politically correct, in the sense that Issac was a drug addict and Nathan was a corrupt politician who cheated on his crippled wife and they were portrayed as such. Not so much this season.

I'm also getting a little bit tired of Issac being used as a catalyst for everything. Need something to jump-start the plot? No problem, Issac painted it. And although the apocalypse plot looks awesome, it's basically last season, only with Peter being amnesiac and with the Irish chick instead of Simone.

And I second the hate of Claire's new bf.

I do love Peter and Sylar's characters this season, but Aekiel already said all that needs to be said about that.

The Sylar/ West parallelism as corrupters is interesting. I see West as a watered down Sylar, similar superiority complex. I know there is no chance of this happening, but if West ended up being Sylar fucking around with Claire's head, I would crack a rib.

Hiro is not going to kill Kensei. Defeat him and White Beard, yes. Not kill.

The reason is because Kensei is both the first person to be special and the first to use the helix that shows up everywhere and that is too much of a coincidence.

I think Kensei lives to modern day and that ultimately everyone can trace their lineage to him or Hiro depending on how far he goes with the swordsmith's daughter before he goes. Kensei is going to be Hiro's arch nemesis, the one that he created and the one that ultimately created him.

    Heroes; Origins Cancelled

Due to the upcoming writers strike and declining ratings Heroes; Origins has been cancelled.

It's a shame since I looked forward to moar Heroes tis season. There is still a chance it might be resurrected, but right now it doesn't look like my dream of having Kevin Smith directing an episode of Heroes is coming true anytime soon.
