AKA: the Nice List, Companion thread to Holiday Movies You Shouldn’t Watch.

Sometimes there’s a holiday movie that fills you with the warm fuzzies. Maybe it’s the movie you watched every year. Share those movies here.

Die Hard (1988) is the quintessential Christmas movie, that perfectly encapsulates the Christmas spirit, a strange man moving through out the interior heating system to deliver presents.

    Love Actually.

Thank me later for getting this stuck in your head.

My favorite Scrooge is the George C. Scott version.

Scrooged starring Bill Murray is pretty funny.

    Christmas Vacation is a classic.

Die Hard is, of course, the greatest Christmas movie ever.

Lethal Weapon is a close second.

Muppet Christmas Carol is good for a laugh sometimes.

The fact no one said Home Alone yet speaks volumes about what poor childhoods you all had.

I can understand why you'd have @Arthellion ignored, but it's served you poorly here.

I enjoyed Elf the first thirty three times I saw it, so it took me longer to get sick of that than Shrek 2.

FUCK YES someone else watches it.

I'm a big fan of Love Actually, even though I know I should just hate it with every fiber of my being.

Rise of the Guardians. That movie made teenage me dive deep into the ROTBTD fandom which even now has it's moments every now and then.

Shocking lack of The Holiday in this thread, given the title.

Great movie to hurl mockery at.

Fargo is set around Christmas isn't it? Or is it just an undefined point in the winter? Been probably 5+ years since I've seen it so not 100% sure on that, but I remember enjoying it quite a bit

The Holiday would lead us to believe that Kate Winslet would fall for Jack Black.
