Remus probably felt sorry for Peter and tried to bring him into the group.

It was explained in canon that Peter was a tagalong. They probably got used to him after awhile, and involved him more. Prolly why he became an animagus with the rest.

rofl. Kicking/Banning isn't permanent in the chat, Surarrin. Only two perm bans so far :p. And trust me, I've gotten killed/kicked/banned/shitlisted many a time, it's not only you. Just ask Blue Magik Marker, he'll tell you :).

Well duh, I'm just annoyed that I got k-lined for No reason. That is what the reference to FF.N was, they weren't doing their job's properly. :p

Honestly, I think they were really just bullies towards the Slytherins. 3 of the 4 boys who were all in the same dorm for 7 years were friends and since there was only one other there (ie Peter) and they were all stuck together for the next 7 years, it doesn't seem all that far-fetched that they would include him and slowly grow close enough that even if he was the magically weakest of the group eventually trust him enough to make them his Secret Keeper.

  6. Good Point but it dosent always go that way. Harry, Ron, Seamus, Neville and Dean arnt the best of friends, harry and ron stuck together, dean and seamus its looks like it and what about Neville? he dosent really have a group to stick to.

Nm, it isn't a K-line, the client just won't accept connection's from my Host because it tried to connect to many times. Still there fault though for making me connect that many times. <_<

You're right, it doesn't always, but I think the 3 + 1 extra worked out differently than the 2, 2 and Neville grouping.

Yeah, just ask me! Ive been in the IRC for ... not more than 2 weeks I think, and I've been kicked... well I haven't really been keeping count, but it's probably approaching 200 times. Other than that, I've been banned at least 10 times as well. So, Surarrin, you're doing pretty well, trust me.

Anyways, cliches... The one I can't stand the most is Dumbledore somehow suppressing Harry's magical abilities. That's probably the cheapest way to give him a huge power boost. It only becomes worse when Harry gets rid of these blocks that he's had for years over the course of a few minutes. ... Stupid.

That's not to big a problem, what is a problem though is when said magical blocks are used to justify Harry's dislike of Dumbledore and at the same time give him a huge amount of power that he never learns how to use. As its new lets bash the holy staf of whatever you spell it. Imedeatly after these magical blocks are removed Harry sudenly has the abilty to fight ten of these uber training dumies at once. This is Harry who learned how to run from fights not how to win them. Giving Harry a power is fine, a magical boost is fine, giving him every power under the sun in two lines is not.

I get so pissed off at this line:

"[Random Slytherin] eyed him approvingly [Or raised an eyebrow]. “How very Slytherin of you, Potter."

No Slytherin would ever say that.

Especially when it's SNAPE! I couldn't count on both hands, both feet and my teeth how many times Harry does something pseudo-cunning, like figuring out Dumbledore's embarrassingly obvious machinations, and garners Snape's respect from it. WTF? Snape detests everything that has to do with a Potter. One almost Slytherin thing that the boy that embodies everything that he hates about people does isn't going to change his way of thinking in under a minute!

Whew, needed to get that off of my chest...

"We Slytherins take care of our own, since everyone else hates us."

Yeah. I hate it when the Slytherins are the powerful, misunderstood, cunning bad boys fan girls seem to like. In canon they are stupid, rich, snobbish little shits.

One thing I really hate are the insanely pricy stuffs, like 3000 blah blah trunk or whatever. If you can buy something like a wand, a WAND that you'll be using your entire gorram life, then i seriously think things should be xx gal, xx silvers and xx knuts. If everything is 1000+ galleons, than why in the world does the wizarding world needs those silvers and knuts?

I hate it in Post Ootp fics when Remus automatically becomes Harry's father figure. The guy is a complete asshole, plain and simple. Harry didn't even know who he was until his third year, and the only extra conversaion they had was about the Patronus Charm. If it was Remus' job to look after Harry as a mentor of sorts after his parents died and if his godfather was gone, he is a failure, period. He can use that werewolf excuse all he wants, how fucking hard is it to visit your best friend's son once a week for maybe an hour? Did you not think that the orphan would want to know a link to his parents? Jeez.

Fuck Remus...i dunno where the hell he comes off saying "Well, Harry, now that Sirius is dead, i'll be your new guardian."

I'd punch that smelly bastard in the nose and apply for emancpation on the grounds that "my guardian is an animal three days a month, he eats people, smells bad, and hasn't lifted a finger in 16 years to help me out."

Harry doesn't know Remus...period. He knew Sirius very little, which is why i hate fics that have him mope about Sirius as if he had lived with the man his whole life.

Cliche: Harry gets a birthday present from Hagrid. He winces, and gingerly prods it for a while before opening it.

Goddamnit. Hagrid is stupid, yes...but they spend a massive paragraph detailing what a brutish yet lovable creature the fucker is.

Cliche: Hagrid shaking ahnds with/clapping on the back. hugging Harry makes his ribs nearly crack.

Once again...he is stupid, but i'm sure he would realize that bear-hugging someone fifty years younger, four hundred pounds lighter and five feet shorter than you is probably a bad idea. Would you drop a boulder on your dog? No...so why would he do it EVERY time?

Not enough people capitalize on Hagrid as a source of information. Apart form the fact that he babbles important things when he's nervous or shocked...how hard is it to drop veritaserum into his daily gallon of hard liquor? If eh can be persuaded to release school secrets in exchange for a dragon egg, then you should be able to drug him and interrogate him.

    FUCKING GOLD!

I can't stand Remus. All that "cub" and "pup" shit makes me gag. How the fuck does he get a chick like Tonks? Everyone seems to forget that he pretty much abadoned Harry. So much for friendship and responsibility eh?

I hate it when they get Remus to blame Harry for Sirius' death. Remus left Sirius in Azkaban for TWELVE years. I don't care how loosely anyone uses that prison, you're sending someone to live amongst their worst memories for the rest of their lives. I doubt we could even imagine that. And after no trial (which was well known fact) You just sent your best friend to goddamn hell and you know your other friend is a RAT, then you turn around and blame the guy who made sure he wasn't returned to that hell for the very quick and painless death that is the veil. Not to mention Harry risked death and expulsion to attempt to save Sirius. So, it was a trap, Remus has NO ground to stand on to turn around and blame Harry.
