Does anyone remember a trilogy from back before the golden age of HP-fanfics... probably pre-OoTP even. It was a Harry/Hermione series, and it involved them being apprenticed to Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel, searching out ancient recipes for the Elixer of Life (which I vaguely remember being some sort of cone-shaped bread). Harry died and was judged before Egyptian gods (or maybe he didn't die and it was some sort of symbolic journey inside the pyramids?) I know this isn't much to go on, but it HAS to ring a bell with some of the other folk who have been here since before the dawn of time.

AND! I remember getting the link from Rosswrock's Yahoo Group (remember he had a list of fic recs in a pdf format?)

I'm too young to have this much trouble with my memory.
