3. Un-check 'Receive Email notification of new private messages.

This means you will no longer get email when you get PM'd, but you shouldn't get them for every alert either.


Alternatively, set up a folder in your email to have all DLP stuff go into.

 

That one kinda sucks, but the pluses outweight the minuses.
Unfortunately, since I'm constantly on the move 'cause of my job, I usually check my email on my phone, hence using the All Inboxes feature, which I think doesn't help with the folders...Oh well.

Snowvon voting for Titus right after she voted for him, makes me think it was an OMGUS vote. I just read through Von's reason for voting Titus and I feel that didn't tell us anything. For now I think the scum team is sloth/von/?? If I switch my vote, it will be 6 votes on Von and one more will hammer it. Do we want to end this earlier than tomorrow because I'll hold my vote for now.

Honestly, since Sloth is here, I'd like to hear him defend himself, but now that it seems like he won't be lynched D1, there really is nothing to defend. My entire suspicions were based on the premise that he was gonna get lynched, but still said nothing. Also, is it just me, or is it funny that as soon as I left the wagon to lynch Sloth, and then others left, that Sloth showed up back here again?

 

Newcomb: He’s very active, with the most posts. Usually a good sign.
Most of his reasoning is usually not explained in a “this is suspicious/reassuring because of ‘these clearly defined set of reasons’/‘these behavioral patterns I will now outlined here,’” rather he uses more of a “this is suspicious/reassuring because ‘I really doubt they’d act this way’/‘I don’t see that at all’ if they were scum/town” even with people he’s never played before.
This is what I meant when I said there’s nothing to answer to. When your reads are based on seemingly abstract cues, they’re not going to be challenged.

Regardless, he’s pretty vocal on his thoughts on me as scum, there’s a clear sincerity there – his behavior is common of a town player that’s never played with me before, which is why I don’t pay it much mind. He feels pretty certain on his read of me – scum would have wavered when he “failed” to dissuade players such as Fonti/Titus/Citrus (or at least failed to get them to vote me), and he’s been open to someone explaining why he’s wrong. This brings me to an interesting question below…

Additionally, let’s talk about Acio and Comb, ‘cause something’s strange there. At this point it feels like there’s two towns working here, or one scum playing a town (in this case, that being Acio.) I would like to say the possibility of two scums working with each other has been dashed given the sheer transparency of the situation.

-Can you give a case on Demon? It feels like you’re bouncing back and forth on him, and lately you’ve dropped his pursuit altogether. Did I miss something?

-Has your read on fontisian changed in any significant way? Follow up, have you noticed any odd interactions between her and other players? (Yes, I’m going somewhere with this)

-What are your thoughts on Kai and Cobalt just saying "give me a pass D1, and I'll sheep you"?

-You didn’t give an opinion on Citrus’ “read” of me on #318, despite badgering him about it constantly. I would have that opinion, sir.

-When you voted for me in #107, Acio followed suit less than 9 posts later (#116), and then when you switched to Von on #354, Acio was the next one to vote on him, in #375 (i.e. 21 posts later.) Thoughts?

-Finally, why did you change your vote? As far as I can tell: A) My wagon was still the strongest, B) most people didn’t (and don’t) have a problem lynching me, C) you still have me as your strongest scumread, D) day wasn’t almost over so it’s not like you had to reach a compromise. What changed?

Not going to respond to all that until I get home, but if you want a stellar example of why I'm very confident you're scum, look no further than what you say and ask about Acio there.

It's just super slimy backdoor trying to get me to think of him as scum rather than presenting your own thoughts, with a heavy sprinkling of IIoA for good measure.

I'm certainly willing to entertain the notion that you're just one of those players that comes off as super scum at all times (again, like you try to position me to say rather than just speaking plainly and saying it yourself), but 9/10 times, the sound of hooves is a horse, not a zebra.

I'll respond to your questions and stuff when I get home. But that definitely didn't make me not want to lunch you.

 

The Grevy Zebra is a massive, aggressive, solitary specious of Zebra known for kicking the shit out of lions.

I'm not even sure this is a Grevy, tbh, because it looks pretty small for one.

 

Citrus: Meh, not too much to see on most of his first posts – they’re essentially shitposts and if there’s anything alignment indicative…I’ll go over that now.

Citrus has not had worthwhile content in this entire game. Despite the fact he’s now the one with the second most posts (as he points out in 3 separate occasions), none of his posts have: Analysis, follow-up, or relevant prods.

What he does have…

-Is both hyper- and preemptive- defensiveness: Like when he points out his number of posts as a reason why he’s contributing (the latest one is in 308), or when he protests that it’s not fair to expect him to do an in-depth wall when he’s busy in 310 (in reality, all he had been asked was just to give reads – just any general reads at all), I also like #32 (“voting someone helps [said the pot to the kettle]”) which is a shitpost in part with the RVS state of the game at the time, but the underlined part grabs my attention, because it’s like he’s trying to nip someone pointing out he’s not voting at the bud before anyone gets a change.

-Also, you know what shitposts are weird? #191 (“One itty bitty gold star for you for having me in green+!”) and #199 (“This is true. Thankfully Citurs isn't in this game, but unfortunately it is also true that "RL busy Citrus" is kinda hard to distinguish from "RL busy but also mafia Citrus"”) both posted way past the RVS for no discernable reason. I would give them a bye if they were added as jokes while saying something relevant, but they aren’t. They’re just tossed in there in simulation of actual contributions.

-Interestingly, there’s #296, where he points Comb towards some of my previous games, including the one where I played scum…yet fails to mention I was Town on the first reroll of that game. I guess I can write that off as being distracted…I certainly don’t see how that could be forgotten though. (Psst. Newcomb. This is what I meant earlier. That quote of mine you spoilered and used it to compare to my post this game, and show how it was identical? Yeah, that’s a quote from a game where I was town.)

-Most of the argument between Fonti and him doesn’t really give anything of substance…cept for #347 which just…what the fuck? Also, I didn’t even know Citrus could get irritated.

All of this makes me unsure about him, but he IS in the middle of finals and I would feel like an asshole pushing him right now. I do want to see more of him on D2.

-You pushed miner and demon on why I was suspicious and then...what? They answered, and you patted them in the head, telling them “good job, aren’t you a nice town!” (which is weird as fuck), and then mentioned how you liked miner’s response over demon’s…and then what? What did you gain?
You dropped it as of 272, making the whole thing…a waste of time. Prove me wrong, please.
