Challenge #3: Invasion-HP xover

Summery: Harry doesn't remember what happened during the second task, but when they found him, naked on the shore, he felt... changed. Powerful.

Rules:
* The 'Fish' was tossed to the Hogwarts lake by accidentally hitting the eye wall, so there are NO other hybrids at Hogwarts

* Harry eventually goes to Homestead, without any of the crap that usually happens in stories where Harry come to America.

* I would prefer, but its not required, that, after the second task, you skip ahead a few years, past the angst

* Harry does not commit suicide

* The story has to be longer than 50,000 words.

Invasion is a tv show.

I don't expect many of you to have seen it.

It about a small town in Florida, after a hurricane. Strange creatures are appearing in the
Everglades, and are 'invading' the town. Sorta.

Its like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Only more awesome, and canceled in 2005.

 

So it's superman without superman?

 

Ahh Invasion. I used to watch this every night after Lost. I was definitely pissed off it was canceled. I wouldn't know where to go with this story, would he be a nice alien person like the wife or something else?

 

Its mostly a good, cheap, balanced way to make a Super!Harry, while staying within canon (since its an xover).

The hybrids have a great immune system; we've seen them die, but also heal from three bullet wound to the stomach in days. Not to mention, being able to stay under water for half an hour.

The negatives? Mental instability, losing your individual sense of morality when your 'school' is angered, and not being able to accept or give a blood transfusion.

So, an 'alien'/evolved human/whatever, like the wife.
