Just a bunch of fodder who's going to have to be protected by the same people who've been fighting the last 10+ chapters. Madara could tear through them with ease, but who wants to bet he doesn't move from the top of Juubi's head for the rest of the manga? Hopefully some of the cast will get some more development before this story comes to its end, I guess.

A couple? I want them all to die except Naruto who will live in the illusion world as Hokage, and one day after a relatively long time he will realize it and just die in sorrow.

 

It is still crap but I would lie if I didn't enjoy this big damned heroes moment. I know, that "army" doesn't stand a chance but still, it was nice seeing them arrive. At least, the shit is enjoyable now.

With so many people there, the elements of harmony have to be among them so that Naruto can zap Madara and his minions with a big dose of friendship and end all this.

How big is the Juubi? In one panel it looked huge, completely dwarfing the Hachibi, but in another panel it seemed to be the same size. And what's going on with the 'chakra' Naruto recieved from the other bijuu? Has it been mentioned at all?

I thought it was a really poor play by Kishimoto given that we now know Naruto to be the best with Kage Bunshin pretty much ever and also clever enough not to simply abuse it. He's been using it on such a high level in the Fourth War that he's been doing it even better than Madara or Mu, in my opinion, deploying Kage level strength all over the battlefield.

Honestly, this chapter more than anything made me pine for the good ol' days of Pain's invasion where the level of menace was crazy and people didn't jump into the battle because they knew they'd instantly die.

Obito's just gonna go all Darth Vader here and it'll be done.

The Juubi so far has been shit. It just sits there and lets Madara and Obito ride it around like a pet? What the fuck? I thought this thing was supposed to be the root of all evil.

And what is Madara's plan here anyways? He's still dead, right? If Edo Tensei was so powerful that it could actually revive the dead in a permanent way why the fuck didn't anyone think to use it before now? I have to believe that there's some sort of limitation on it since Madara, in his infinite bad guy wisdom, made up this convoluted bullshit plan involving his Rinnegan and Nagato and Obito and Akatsuki. If he knew how to revive himself in such a simple matter that a goomba like Kabuto could do it, why all the fuss? Just come back to life and be done with it already.

I assume the Juubi isn't aggressive towards the Uchiha because they were previously bonded to it or something like that.

Also I'm not sure Madara needs to know how to actually preform the Edo Tensei(let alone at Kabuto's level) to know the counter to it.

Madara was attached to the juubi's body for decades apparently. It was also involved in healing Obito. That's what I meant.

Did Madara know anyone knew the Edo Tensei before his death to have planned it out for Obito? I'm not sure tracking Orochimaru or Kabuto down counts as easy work either.

 

You should read the mangastream version, the other one screwed up the final pages. Basically, Naruto is not using any technique at all, the wind technique thing was not used by Naruto, but by the alliance fodders and in the mangapanda version it was accidentally (and incorrectly) put into Narutos speech bubble instead.

What actually happened, was that Naruto was basically keeping his hands on the shadow clone summon seal thing, and then the entire alliance (all Narutos friends and such) arrived, and Naruto claimed that the "technique" he was referring was actually a "ninja alliance jutsu" and it was that (the world unified against Obito&Madara) that could stand against the infinite tsukuyomi. Basically, Naruto did not perform any actual techniques, the whole thing was a cheesy "friends are power" thing. And the clone summoning seal was likely supposed to signify the idea that Naruto was "summoning" not copies of himself, but all his friends and allies to come help. Though again, it was just symbolic thing, Naruto did not actually summon them. Most likely thanks to the sensory abilities of both SM and BM, he was able to feel that the alliance was very close, which is why he did what he did.

When it comes to the actual "that jutsu" that Jiraiya talked about, we still don't have any idea what it is or if it even exists. However whatever it is, its not anykind of wind-based technique since Naruto only learned his wind nature AFTER the training trip with Jiraiya, whereas he learned about "that jutsu" during the trip.

Well to be fair, those were KCM powered clones. I doubt normal clones could do much. Though you are right otherwise that Madara insulting Narutos cloning skills was pretty weak, but then Madara is a troll anyway so its possible it was just intended to try and psis Naruto off, rather than demonstrating Madaras true beliefs. In the fight with Gaara, Madara did seem to agree earlier that Naruto was an impressive kid, and that impression was based on the performance of a Naruto he knew was a clone. Though ofcourse it might just be poor writing too and Kishi just plain forgot about that.

I will say that it was awfully convenient how the entire alliance (all divisions and such) all arrived at EXACTLY the same moment. If we give Kishi credit, then that might be a clue that the alliance had already arrived previously, and was actually holding back due to the intensity of the fight, and only chose do jump in when it became obvious that Naruto&co had run out of juice and were about to die and really needed support.

I agree that this is a major disappointment. I used to have this view of Juubi that it actually was, what most people originally thought the nine bijuu were. A true eldritch abomination. Instead it is indeed just a pet. Ohwell, to be fair its under control of two rinnegan users who have both had decades to prepare for this moment.

I still have hope that maybe Obito and Madara will get knocked out and lose control, causing Juubi to awaken in truth and we will still get what I had hoped for. A true monster. Who knows, maybe that will happen yet. Madara and Obito might be defeated here, only to have their death free Juubi totally, resulting in Juubi awakening in full and becoming the true final villain. One thats interested not in brainwashing the world, but in just wiping everyone out. I live in hope.

Yeah, I really hope it turns out that Edo Tensei has some fatal flaw that Rinne Tensei would not have had, and that will result in Madara being screwed. If not, then it really will be a humongous plothole. And not just about Madara (Orochimaru could have achieved immortality this way too, as has been pointed out before).

Hmm, Kabuto who is an expert in ET is still alive, and currently (apparently) being brainwashed into being a good guy thanks to Itachis Izanami. That could be a potential way for the alliance to learn about some hidden fatal weakness in ET that could be used against Madara. And if this weakness exist then Madara would almost certainly have known of it, explaining his desire to be brought back via RT instead.

 

Even if it was awhile ago, you're also forgetting Orochimaru is now kicking around with Sasuke looking for something.

 

He is good with Kage Bunshin but I just love madara(the emperor) trolling naruto(Luke). About obito... Here they have a Death Star on legs while The united rebel alliance that is 1% useful people(vs juubi) and 99% cannon foddet(vs juubi). And Madara can own multiple kages and is immortal... God damn you're right Darth Vader redemption incoming. Or kubo is going to add ANOTHER abillity to the EMS. Or random plotkai from Naruto.

 

What Jutsu? Where has it has been mentioned?

Also what animal is the 10 tails? I thought it would be Dragon or some such, Not this giant stingray reject.
