Wow. I know that The Sun Soul has a lot of love on DLP, but this is probably my favorite Pokemon fic, and I just discovered it five hours ago (thank you, TVTropes). Perhaps it's because I have a strange love of fics that cross over with the real world, but there it is. It's a generally light-hearted fic, but it has some dark moments, and it actually manages to question what constitutes reality in an oddly metaphoric way. Keeping me engrossed to the very end, it has an ending that, while expected, doesn't seem forced.

All in all, Pokemon Storm Clouds gets a solid 4.5/5 from me.

 

Reading what little I managed actually made me embarrassed for the author. It's not riddled with errors, yeah, but dear god kill it with fire.

At what chapter did you find it started getting decent? I'd give it a go until there, if you give me a number.

I'd say just read the whole story before passing judgement. If you still don't lke it, well, not everyone's tastes are the same. But I think that the story, as a whole, is pretty good, although upon reflection I think 4.5/5 may be a little high of a score.

Also, I don't think it's a self-insert at all, Cuddles. If it is, it is not a bad one.

Yeah, reading a whole story full of crap isn't what I want to do, which is why I quit it. However, if it starts getting interesting at relatively early point i'd give it another go. So, does it improve from how it started or not?

 

Yeah, I think it gets better, especially around chapter 12. I'd disagree that any part of this is crap, but the first half isn't as engaging as the second half.

 

Ah, I guess i'll skip it then.

This is nothing more than an appalling self-insert fic of the shittiest calibre. Delete its presence from DLP.
