We tried, it didn't work. Our Ryze fed their jax so hard. And Yi just swept up the kills. We lost.

But then in my last game I went Alistar and got an early kill when their Kha'z failed during invade. Bot was pretty even with me and cait against tris and leona. But our Pantheon got fed so hard, he was dominating all game. He landed some epic ults too. Anyway we won, they had a small comeback but we grouped up fast and won!

I ended up going 7-3 in my placements and got into silver 2!!! So excited! Trying out my first non placement ranked match. Xin jungle, against Jax jung.

Got destroyed, stopping ranked for now. It was not fun, I was manhandled, do not recommend.

Hm, don't think I've ever contributed to this. Started the season S5, had a 10+ game losing streak, fell down to B2. Then the feral nation attacked. Won 19 games in a row with mostly feral flare junglers. Currently sitting at S4 with 84 lp.

At low elo, I've found feral flare to be just outright easymode on certain junglers. Started out with Yi, and won with him. Just found him too vulnerable to invades though. Moved to Shyvanna. had success with her as well, but she doesn't have the damage I want, if I want to be able to carry from the jungle. Switched to Udyr, have gone 11-1 with him over the last two days.

Honestly, it's generally kind of boring, but Feral flare is definitely the way to go in lower leagues. I tend to ban out major ganking junglers such as Vi, Pantheon, Kha. Gives my team a bit of breathing room, because I'm not ganking or counter-ganking much at all. Normally start off a game as Udyr by warding their red (taking 2 pots instead of the customary 5 to afford the ward). If they start blue, I go to their red and kill them as they take it. If they start red, I'll farm until I hit about 1k gold, back and pick up madreds, boots, pots, and wards.

Go back into the jungler. Clear mine, move into theirs. Ward up their blue and wraiths. Kill their jungler if I happen to run into him. If not, just counter jungle, get out, and clear my own. When I get a read on their jungler, I go back into their jungle, get more stacks on my wriggles/feral, and attempt to kill the jungler. Max Phoenix first (not as much damage as tiger, but I want clear time for my Feral). As I'm Udyr, no one can really fight me without lane help, so either they die to me 1v1, flash to run, or get assistance from a laner and take pressure off my team. In any case, I help my team.

My core items are Feral, Triforce, tabis, and then stack armor/MR depending on the enemy. Doing absolutely ridiculous damage, but I'm still so tanky. By end game with 50+ stacks, I hit like a truck, and I just don't die. The downside is, before I get the initial tanky items, I'm pure glass cannon. There's a definite point of weakness between the triforce and the Randuins (which is normally my first tanky items.

At my low elo, I've found incredible success with this style. It's normal for my team to be down by 3-4 kills in the first 20 minutes (just due to bad laners, or jungle ganks), it really doesn't matter. I come out of the jungle so strong, that we almost always win anyway.

Hoping they don't bring the hammer down on Feral too hard, but I can easily see it nerfed into the ground.

 

That jungle style is very consistent in winning games. You not only set the enemy jungler behind, but they also can't respond to your own ganks/map pressure that snowballs the rest of your team. Feral Flare just gave more champs the early power to pull that strat off.

I've been doing terribly. My second account got demoted to Silver 1 from inactivity and I've been going up and down the ladder.

 

I'm going to have to try that jungle system out, I usually go xin jungle but udyr sounds cool,

And its not every game but its not that unusual to find people with it. 1 group every 4-5 games, though I don't always join.

 

Are you sure about that? I got a beta key from someone else but didn't end up getting any extras, unless I'm missing something?

I finally reached gold. After years of being a silver pleb I am now a man.

 

I've found that for any brackets going noct is just too fucking strong with the feral flare, you can just farm all day and once you reach 6 your pressure is insane kinda like panth but way better cause you scale harder with feral. The gist of it is to counter gank the first few ganks the other jungler tries around 3-5 min mark, you don't need to get kills just avoid giving him any, once your buffs respawn around the 7-8 min you are already lvl 6 and can keep farming your jungle (if he shows top and you are farming bot jungle just ult bot and so forth). Also in lower brackets I believe you can go tp on yi and carry the game (if the other team has a lot of cc be wary of using this strat)

 

Just to clarify: do not go full farm mode on nocturne. I lost a game because my Nocturne farmed jungle to 6 then failed all his ganks for like 5 minutes. The trick to emphasize is that you have to counter the ganks at 3 and 5 minutes otherwise they will snowball ahead of your team in lane and jungle.

Also another thing I've seen a lot in low brackets is the fact that the jungler over-commits to ganks, if you manage to take out one of your enemies summoners that is good enough, just go full Leroy when you are 100% sure you are getting the kill otherwise you are waisting resources (this is hard to gauge unless you really know your champ and their champ). Another useful tip don't know if everyone knows or not but the trinkets are super short duration so if you get an aprox timer on a trinket you can farm some jungle creeps make time and gank his ass.

Btw on timers every time you see an enemy use his flash time it (it's 5 min without any masteries on the summoners cd reduction). Buffs respawn time is 5 min, dra 6 min and baron 7.

Yea I try not to overcommit when I can but then my laner always get annoyed if the opponent lives. And if I stay too long then their jungler just comes in and kills us.

There was this one game yesterday await an Evelyn who was just prophetic in knowing where our jungler was going to be
It didn't help that our shaco jungler was bad and kept laming instead of farming.

 

If you know where the other jungler starts it's pretty easy to tell where he is going to be. Normally in yoloq MOST junglers start at the buff which is closer to his bot lane (so blue buff on purple side and red buff on blue side). So most junglers start at the bottom half of the map.

Now again most junglers finish their second buff around the 3 min mark and that's when you should be careful for ganks normally they will either go to top or mid cause it's closer to them they can also just wait out for the counter gank.

If you are ganking a lane you need to ask yourself can you 2 vs 2 them, early on you are not going to gank a renekton top (he is a beast) or a nidalee mid cause she will just heal all of your damage and you will waste time. So you need to either farm your way bottom or counter gank and save your lanes.

If you have broken late game champs (Ryze, jax, etc) babysit those lanes because they are weak early so they get targeted plus if you manage to help them have their lane go even they will probably carry the game.

The job of the jungler is to feed your lanes and keep them safe (top and mid mostly), so invest in a pink ward early to be safe.
