I was thinking how the long imprisonment should have impacted on Sirius's personality and mental stability. How he should have ripped to shreds anyone who tried to fuck with Harry over the years.
So in this challenge he must murder Dursleys and Snape, but set it up with no clues leading to him. Other vicitims are always a pleasure. He should also teach Harry a variety of strong spells he learned from other prisoners over the years. Although, this isn't neccesary .

Sounds pretty good but I think it would be better if Harry doesn't meet Sirius and it takes him awhile to realize all the deaths are making his life better. He then tries to track Sirius down.

Ah, but there is one small problem. Could Sirius kill Dumbledore? From what we know of the man he is a fairly decent wizard, but he can't hold a candle up to Bella, not to speak of Dumbledore.

It's not a bad thought, really. It would take a very creative author to make the story worthwhile, but it's not necessarily implausible to think that a man like Sirius, who has had his worst memories dragged from him daily whilst being locked inside a cage, would "flip" so to speak. Of course, he was more or less just a boy when he went into Azkaban, so he can't be nearly as powerful as Bellatrix, who has years of experience under her belt. That doesn't mean he can't knock off the Dursleys; but Snape does seem a bit of a stretch, considering how uber-powerful Rowling made him in the last book.

As for the "variety of spells he learned from other prisoners over the years", I was under the impression (that may be false) that there is very little contact between prisoners. Unless you're going for some Count of Monte Cristo sort of plotline here.

    Still, I'd read it.

I think that if he was dedicated to killing Bellatrix he would do a better job than he did in OotP, you have to remember she was also put into Azkaban, she wouldn't have that much more experience than him, he was an Auror, right?

I doubt he could kill Dumbledore unless he convinced him he was trustworthy then AK'ed him out of nowhere and caught Dumbledore flat-footed and surprised, probably from behind.

I would read it. Though depending on the author I might stop reading it quickly.

I dunno where the Fanon/Canon lines blurred, but I dont think Sirius was an Auror. Or, at least, I dont remember it being mentioned. He could have been going to be an Auror, but the time line, with the, what? Three years from the time they get out of Hogwarts to the time J.L died.

I think somewhere in OotP Tonks or Moody or one of them mentioned Auror Academy lasts something like four years. Again, that could also be me mistaking it for Fanon/Canon.

    Truth.

    HA!
    Double HA!

All he'd have to do is polyjuice himself into Severus Snape or one of the Dursley adults. The old bastard seems to trust all three of them implicitly, despite mountains of evidence that he shouldn't.

Yup, all Sirius has to do is disguise himself as one of them, not think too loud, and then say, "Headmaster, could you hold this stick of dynamite while I run waaaay over there? I think I dropped something."

Hell, he could polyjuice himself into Draco and, shucks, wouldn't the old fart be shocked when Malfoy actually does have the balls to put him in the dead book. Surprise!

Because if you're an evil prick, not only do you deserve a second, third, ..., and nine-hundredth chance, you can also be trusted beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Before DH, Albus was a self righteous, self important, manipulative cunt who was ruthless with his own allies but wore kid gloves for the bad guys.

After DH, it turns out he's all of the above AND he's a hypocritical pureblood supremacist whose obsession with 'benevolent racism' and the future magical Hitler's wedding tackle got his sister killed and helped bring about a war. Not only that, he was happily sending an untrained Harry off to his death, while he, himself, was so afraid of death that he spent his life searching for the Hallows.

Whoops, I'm ranting. Anyway... The point is, killing Dumbledore shouldn't be hard. To receive all the good will from him you can stand, you just have to pose as someone who hates his guts, would have a motive to kill him and be predisposed to follow through; convenient, that.

He literally lets the enemy get away with murder; fitting if it should bite him on the ass.
