Sgtoutlaw's Challenge #1

Summary: Raistlin doesn't give up his goal of becoming a god, but in an effort to avoid the future his twin brother Caramon told, his soul (currently in the abyss) gets sent to another dimension.

I know the whole another dimension crossover deal doesn't really work out, but I really think it could work with this one.

I don't really care what you cross it over with, as long as it has a decent basis of magic that could allow him to someday return back to the abyss and finish what he started, or become god of his new dimension.

Rules:

1. Raistlin has to steal a body from whatever crossover he ends up in, not make another.

2. In time the curse that makes him see things as they age catches up with him (the longer it is the more severe it gets until it is complete).

3. Raistlin's main objective is still to become a god, but avoid the catastrophe that Caramon pronounced.

4. Being stuck in this dimension, Raistlin is limited working with that world's magic, or magics upon which the body he gains possesses.

5. After being cast to another dimension, Raistlin's staff head (the crystal), has to follow him in some manner as a connection to his old one (Possible connection to his old magic?).

That is pretty much all. I did originally think about this as an idea of a Harry Potter crossover, but then realized that the magic system within HP sucked too much for it to work. There also isn't the slightest mention of any gods, nor can I see anyone being able to decently implement a godly link to the HP world. I suppose if you could manage to do so it would be nice as well.

 

At the risk of sounding totally ignorant...who the fuck is Raistlin? What fandom is this?

...If it wouldn't work as a Harry Potter crossover, why did you post it on a Harry Potter fan fiction forum?

Go find a Dragonlance forum or something and post this shit there.

 

Mainly due to the fact that I do generally read Harry Potter fanfiction, and I have seen some pretty good stuff from DLP that isn't HP.

Plus I am still reading the Dresden Files >.>.

I honestly looked for a decent Dragonlance forum for this and couldn't find one. T.T So this general fanfiction zone here will have to do.
