So for those of you who are versed in the Warhammer 40K universe this is for you. In the Imperium of Man there is a not necessarily a faction but a groups of believers who think that the emperor’s soul is still the Golden Throne or in the warp and is simply waiting for his time to come back after the Horus Heresy. They were right. The time for when this happens is not that important but the idea is that Harry is accidently thrown into the future and manages to reappear in the throne room of the Immortal God Emperor. As soon as he arrives the Emperor see’s from the warp; that Harry is different then all of the others. Realizing that this is his only chance to save humanity he wills his soul to leave the warp/Golden Throne and enter Harry. Seeing the event happen the Guards come to the conclusion that Harry is the Star Child Himself and is the Reincarnation of the Emperor. The only problem is that Harry has no fucking idea what anybody is talking about. He has no idea how to use this new power that has been thrust at him, and with a Empire that is now facing a crisis with the Necron threat growing he is faced with huge choices. Oh and to top it off he now has Trillions of Worshipers who see him as a god.

Rules
-Harry does remember his whole life, just not the Immortal God Emperor’s.
-Though Harry has the soul and essentially the power of a god in Him he really has no idea how to use his power. He knows magic and that is it, and compared to the power that the Emperor had Magic isn’t all that great.
-Harry is in a strange land with as said Trillions of Worshipers. He is not going to like this; as yet again he is revered for something that he really had nothing to do with.
-The Empire is going to look to Harry for leadership. They will want him to help guide them to Victory against pretty much everyone that threatens the Imperium of man.
-With the Ray of Hope gone now, Interstellar travel is also going t be fucked for a bit as there is no one to calibrate the signal.
- The Space Marines are going to want to use him to replenish the gene seed that has become lost and corrupted after all this time.

So ideas, comments, thoughts?

 

The problem I've found with writing my 40K fic, is there is such a volume of information revolving around the Imperium alone, let alone the other races, that you can't easily insert Harry into it. The Emperor would have so much to do, how do you write it? The volume of time in the 40K universe is so much larger than in the HP universe. Interstellar travel can take years, decades. Plans percolate over centuries. How do you write it all and keep the readers interest.

Whilst its an interesting concept, you have to remember that tehre are a large number of powerful people in the Imperium who don't want the Emperor to wake up. Over half the Inquisition, especially the Ordo Hereticus, believe the Emperor is ascended so to speak. Most of the High Lords of Terra want him to remain on the Golden Throne. The moment he shows any weakness, he dies.

A difficult thing to write, so many things to work around.
