    HUFFLEPUFF WINS TRIBAL IMMUNITY!

Congratulations, Hufflepuff - Better luck next time, Ravenclaw! Hufflepuff, as part of your reward, you will also receive a Clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. Ravenclaw, you know what you get: a trip to Tribal Council, where one of you will be eliminated to Redemption Island.

    Night 1 has started.

Posting in this thread is prohibited until approximately 24 Hours from now

At Night, you may post in your Communal House QTs and also may now begin 1-on-1 QTs with your fellow Housemates. Request which players (via private QT) with which you wish to communicate, and I will organise it for you. If you wish to have a group conversation, I recommend you either hold it in your House QT or you convey your messages to all players involved in the convo via your 1-on-1 QTs at the same time. When I believe that significant evidence for an Alliance exists, you may also receive a link to a Group QT for your Alliance.

This may be finnicky, but the whole point of 1-on-1 QTs is to give some opportunity for individual manoeuvring, although alliances with multiple players are definitely encouraged.

Apart from Zeitgeist, only the following (16) individuals are allowed to participate:

    Welcome to Tribal Council

Welcome, castaways of Ravenclaw, to Tribal Council. For losing the Ultimate Tug-of-War Challenge, you has been sent here, to this abandoned grotto, to cannibalise one of your own.

Grab a torch and light it in the fire pit. On Survivor, fire represents life. It is what hastens in the dark. Your aim in Survivor: Redemption is to keep your torch from being snuffed out by those around you.

This is how Tribal Council will work. Firstly, Ravenclaw, you cannot post in your House QT while Tribal Council is occurring. You will also be given a series of questions which you must answer, in order for Tribal Council to conclude. These questions are designed with observing your performances at the Immunity Challenge and any fractures within your House.

At the end of these questions, you will submit a vote via your private QTs. How you submit a vote is "Vote Out: [PLAYER NAME]". You should also append your vote with a short voting Confessional, which is a sentence or two (or more, if you feel passionate) explaining your reasons/feelings towards your vote. Examples of Confessionals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9ikbfa7Igw

Also, for this Tribal Council only, Anya has Immunity as the Returnee for Ravenclaw. This is one of two benefits that the Returnees have received. You cannot vote for Anya. All other players can be voted against. Furthermore, I strongly encourage all of you to provide good confessionals (doesn't have to be long; good ones can often only be a word or two) for various reasons.

Tribal Council 1 (Dusk 1) has started.

Posting is now permitted in this thread until all Tribal Council questions have been answered. Votes can be submitted once everybody has answered all their allocated questions. If you know that you won't be online at this point, you may submit a vote early, but once a vote is made, it cannot be retracted.

Only Ravenclaw may currently post in this thread.

If you have any question about Tribal Council, ask me in your QTs. Once all the votes are counted, I will then account for any Hidden Immunity Idols that have been played. Refer to post #1 to know how to play an HII. If you know you'd want to use the HII, please let know in your personal QT BEFORE Tribal Council ends. Thank you.

Here are the Tribal Council (TC) Questions for TC 1:

These questions are for everybody to answer:

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?
    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?
    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?
    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?
    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?
    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?

Totally. It's pretty much all you have againts youself and elimination. Having a solid alliance can help you so so much.

    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?

    Probably myself, or BiteMyFinger.

    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?

It's hard to trust anyone really, but at some point you've got to put your trust in someone. I don't really think you can go at it alone. Trust is important, and keeping your word is important too. I intend to keep my promises and my word to other people.

    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?

    Needs better internet access. Heh.

    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?

I'm of the opinion that... in order to win, you've got to take chances. Thus keeping around a potensial threat, since if they are a threat to you, they will be more so a threat to the other house.

    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?

    Riley, the other returnee. :p

Probably but I don't think they'll come into play until later in the game.

I think BMF had the least pulls.

Yeah, you have to trust in your team to be able to stomp some fools in the other house.

    Shiny.

    Gotta wreck the Puffs first.

    I ain't scared.

Remember that voting cannot commence until everybody has answered the questions. If you've already posted your answers and are worried that you won't be online to vote when everybody else posts their questions, feel free to vote in advance.

Also, if anybody wants to be an Observer/Homeviewer for this game (I highly recommend it; it is a lot of fun and extremely interesting), feel free to post in the other Survivor thread and I'll PM you the details.

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?

They will not come into play this early, but yes, they will eventually have a significant impact. Well, seems like it.

    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?

    BMF.

    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?

Yes. Where you place your trust in, and the degree of trust between you and your partner may lead to you making either correct, or misinformed decisions that may end up affecting your chances of victory. Good to have, but not something to be overly reliant.

    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?

    Are there cats?

    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?

Depends on the stage of the game. Early on the second strategy is better, while nearing merger, the former one is better. What is key is seeing where this shift happens.

    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?

    Can I answer no one?

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?

Alliances are one of the most important parts of this game. If you don't have any friends, you'll be all alone when someone wants to take off your head. And no, not really. I've had a few good talks with people.

    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?

    That'd be Anya and BitMyFinger

    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?

I think it is. If no one trusts you, then you don't really have any friends, and thus, no alliances. And as for that, see answer 1.

    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?

I'm not a fan. I think once you're out, you should stay out. But then again, I'm sure I'll think differently when it's me over there.

    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?

If we just kill each other, we'll all die in the end.

    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?

I'm thinking Zenzao. The man had 20 pulls, according to my list. That's just nuts.

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?
The Mohawk considers forming alliances a very important part of the game, without them, the Mohawk would be lonely.

    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?
Based on the numbers, the Mohawk thinks that BitMyFinger probably could have done more to help out.

    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?
Based on the previous game, the Mohawk knows that it is important to have people that you can trust and rely on, this is a team game.

    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?
The Mohawk has decided that although it is lovely this time of year, he does not wish to visit it.

    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?
The Mohawk believes that at this stage of the game, the House needs to stand strong and remove those that are not going to contribute the most.

    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?
The Mohawk considers Zenzao's beard to be the anti-Mohawk, it must be cleansed. The easiest way to do so is through it's Zenzao :|.

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?
    - Alliances are extremely important in this game, and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is lying to you~.
    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?
-I feel like I could have contributed more, since I basically stopped pulling when it became nigh impossible for us to win. Beyond that, BMF did pull the least amount of times.
    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?
    - Trust is only important in this game insofar as to talk about why it cannot exist. A better thing to rely on is mutual beneficence. If something helps both parties, or is perceived to help both parties, it is much more valuable than some measure of trust that you could put into someone. One option has you with some semblance of control of your own fate. The other leaves you out in the cold, relying on someone else. Make bargains, not deals.
    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?
    - I think it was a shitty twist, but I'm interested in seeing what you're gonna do with it~.
    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?
    - It's important at this level to keep strong strategic and competition threats alive. We just lost an immunity challenge, and while it IS just 1 challenge, if the merge were to come today, we would be outnumbered on tribal lines. It's important to keep strong challenge players in the game to contribute to victories and keep us out of tribal. It's important to keep strong strategic players in the game, to ensure that if we end up in a merge, in a bad spot, they can do everything they can to try and swing the people on the bottom of the totem pole, over.
    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?
    - I'm not concerned with anyone on Hufflepuff from what I have seen, if only because what I have seen means nothing. Maybe once I see one of their tribal councils, I'll have a better idea of how to answer this question.

    1. Do you consider alliances an important aspect of this game? Do you feel like you're excluded from an alliance between other Ravenclaws?

Absolutely, alliances are an important part of the game.

    2. Who contributed the least to the last Immunity Challenge?

BMF, based solely on number of pulls.

    3. Is trust important in this game? And why or why not?

Trust is incredibly important in this game. You have to be able to trust your allies, and you have to know how much trust to give them.

    4. What are your thoughts on Redemption Island?

    It's... interesting.

    5. In your opinion, is it more important to eliminate strategic threats now or should you instead keep these strong competitors around in order to win the Pre-Merge Immunity Challenges against Hufflepuff?

It's important to keep threats around for now. No one wants to be another Ulong.

    6. Who on Hufflepuff worries you the most?

Right now it's Zenzao and Riley. However, I'd need to see more of them to really get a clearer picture.
