World, talking about the creation of the wall, I would suggest that they are not really stopping death, but act as the stopper. It would probably take a huge amount of time and magic to create one. Thus you would not be able to stop your own death if you were dying with one.

Hmm. I liked World's idea. It seems very promising. But if there's nobody to write this...

That does not make any sense.

Anyway, why does he have to be able to build a wall, if he can make a horcrux anyway?

Maybe I'll try my hand at this at some time.

Veeeery interesting. I think that World's idea is the best so far, and I am very eager to see someone write this.

You could always try to have Harry play the role of God...

I was brushing through this section, and came across this challenge, I think it is pretty good, with a lot of potential, but I have a doubt; the Horcruxes, in canon, are one of the most EVIL magics, it does not make sense that a non-dark Harry made one. But along that line, I thought why are not both Harrys evil, I mean, the first one to rise in 2150, or whatever year it is, becomes a Dark Lord, and the other one has the same goals, but as the definiton of Dark Lord (not wanting to share power) says, the second manipulates the government to make him look like the 'good guy'; but ultimately both Harrys have the same goals, and battle each other for control.

    Just an idea

Wow, it's been a while since I wrote this challenge, I had completely forgotten about it...

Re-reading it, it does sound good, though I still think that no-one is gonna take it up.

As for the Horcrux...a non-dark Harry wouldn't make one no, but perhaps a dark!Harry who is desperate/corrupted by Dark magic, but still not properly evil, would make one.

Whatever the case, he would definitely be more evil after its creation than before.

Yes, well, he would definitely be more evil than before, but still, Harry made it because he was desperate, in this case, to defeat Voldemort, but once he is 'revived', so to speak, he has no driving any more, Voldemort destroyed his life, not his other self, which is why he would not fight himself; besides he has nothing, or more accurately nobody to fight for; lack of purpose can take a person to many unforseen places (for commodity not to a self-pitying, pussy-like state).

Another point that makes this story difficult to write, is the HUGE amount of OC's one would have to introduce, and to not fall into making canon characters with different names would certainly prove hard to do.
