The Chest Monster Challenge.

Harry Potter/Alien's Crossover.

Rules:

1) Harry finds a strange 'egg' the summer before sixth year and the face hugger gets him, laying its eggs inside Harry's chest. Where the egg comes from is up to you.

A suggestion is that it could just be a thought to be extinct race of magical creature or you could make it a true, living, breathing ET.

2) Harry's magic effects the alien so it doesn’t 'hatch' under the normal time frame, instead it takes a few months, around the time that Harry is back to Hogwarts. How the magic effects it is totally up to you.

A suggestion is that it might put the creature in a type of stasis.

3) The 'Monster' in Harry's chest during sixth year whenever he is around Ginny is really the alien, finally starting to awaken. Whatever reason for it reacting to Ginny is up to you.

A suggestion is that the alien finds her to be the most appropriate source of food after its 'hatched' and is awakened by that fact.

4) When the alien gets out of Harry's body it retains Harry's memories, pretty much becoming the new Harry Potter since the human body is dead. What he decides to do after that is up to you.

It retaining Harry's memories is a side effect of his magic interacting with the creature while it grew. What powers it has apart from the standard issue from the alien's movies is up to the you.

5) The start of HBP can be used or you can create a totally AU start to sixth year, its up to you.

 

All up to the author who takes it up. It'd be better if it had some traits of the alien and not just another copy of Harry but whatever... its all up to the author.

 

I might take this up myself since no one else is... and I really shouldnt with all the shit on my plate but I dont want to see this idea go to waste... maybe I'll plan it all out and hand it over to another author to write for me.
