Challenge : A debate to the death : Dumbledore vs. Voldemort on views on muggleborns and muggles , why they should live , or why they should be killed ?


Best seen would be 2 scenarios 1 where Dumbledore wins on Arguments and one where Voldemort wins.

The looser of each scenario of the debate has to be killed off , together with all those he supports in a creative way.

While I do like the idea, of a Dumbledore and Voldemort having a good talk not in a fight. That can't work. You would need one of the best authors ever to have them talk about there views, and if that happens, well the story could be very interesting... but it is politics... meh...

Also this challenge sucks. You expect people to work off this idea and it isn't good or logical. Dumbledore, would not want Voldemort to die. Voldemort... well he would not like this whole debate thing. Then who is going to judge who the winner is?

Then, well, 10-15K words?

 

Sort of like Carl Lung and Sigmund Freud sitting in a room for a day discussing mental people?

It might be quite intersting, but hard to pull off and obviously both would have to out of character

 

what about doing a format sort of like "interview with a vampire?" You could easily have Dumbledore and Voldemort just get interviewed in a secure location, or sort of a post apocalypse situation were they finally share their complete views and history. I feel like that has amazing potential.

Fuck humor, make it a real fic.

 

No, no, what you are talking about is stupidity. Nothing short of an intense migraine that anyone competent trying to read or even create this piece of crap would have.

Even going just this far you have failed. A "Debate" to the freaken "Death" What the hell? If they are just going to "Debate" over the freaken subject, why the hell don't they just do it with their 'wands'. They are not going to agree, they are not going to compromise, one is going to beat the other. and if they are going to die either way, why not have them go out with style.

A few paragraphs that might actually amuse the author, or even provide moments of intense pleasure? No, you would rather have two people go into a room, and play nice who can fuck the muggle born more?

What the hell is left for them to debate? We all know what their opinions are on the matters, hell isn't that what the books are about? Forgive me, you probably haven't read the books enough to know this...

Wait a minute! Wasn't your whole idea that one of them would beat the other to the death? So when the first one wins, isn't that the end?

No I remember, there are of course Rez runes stacked all over the chamber! That way they can argue much more effectively, dying from the lack of oxygen that they will have. (Not because of some curse mind you, but because of arguing over something they would never agree on) What the fuck, how can one beat the other, and have both win!?

Are you freaken kidding? You would want me to read some stupid old men arguing such a stupid idea for 10-15k words!? And in the end, not only one would win, both would win. (How this works is beyond me, as the minute the first one lost he and his 'supporters' died.)

Here's a piece of advice. The next time you have something this stupid to say, bang your head against the keyboard 'bout 300 times, and post that instead. It would probably make more sense to me. (And the rest of us.)
