I was wondering if anyone thought this might make a good start for a HP fanfic

Consider the following

1. Voldemort created 6 horocrux with the seventh piece of his soul being in his own body
2. When voldemort died the existence of horocrux allowed the piece of his soul to exist as a wraith/disembodied spirit
3. Balisk venom destroys not only matter but also the spirit inside of a horocrux
4. Phoenix tears is a counter to balisk venom

Then in second year when harry was saved by fawkes not only was he healed by the phoenix tears but also the horocrux within harry was strengthened as well.

Thus begins the story?

 

So you are suggesting that the tears of one of the most purest and magical 'good' creatures in the world strengthens one of the most vile, foul, and evil pieces of magic known to man?

Personally, I thought making a horocrux out of your own body was the most retarded part.

2. Please, please try to at least spell the stuff you're talking about right. Horcrux. Basilisk. Not so hard, is it? I'm not the person to normally fret over misspellings, but seriously, if you don't even care enough to look up how stuff like that is spelled, especially if it doesn't even take 5 seconds when you have internet and Google, that's just stupid.

3. You're logic is flawed. A destroys B, and C destroys A, so C must strengthen B? No.

Phoenix tears do not counter anything. They heal. Otherwise Harry would've died at the chamber with or without fawkes.

Fawkes did not cast insta-teleport-healing-skill+15. Harry was poisoned, remained that way for a while and then got healed out of it by the world strongest healing substance.

 

Does anyone else find it strange that the basilisk venom had no effect whatsoever on the horcrux that is Harry's scar?

 

I think if it had enough time to destroy the horcrux, it probably would have killed him before the phoenix tears could heal him.

 

JKR hadn't thought that far ahead yet.
