It's not even a trailer and I already like everything about it.

Joel Kinnaman is prolly one of my favorite actors after watching altered carbon season 1. So...I'm in.

Peter Capaldi, too? That's quite a cast list.

... but it's also a DC movie, so not going to get too excited.

But a DC movie made by James Gunn, if there's anyone capable of doing this kind of movie well, it's James Gunn, his work on the Guardians of the Galaxy movies was great.

Is it a remake or a sequel?

It's a standalone sequel, which is just a thinly disguised reboot imo.

Can I say the Snyder cut has me excited?

I don't get it. What's the difference between the Snyder cut and the original?

Among other things, including things like color grading and new dialogue. The Joss Whedon directed version (which did have some Snyder input but he was mostly MIA because of the terrible tragedy with his family) added essentially an entirely new movie of new scenes. Some online "sleuths" have been able to identify the scenes more easily in different ways; one is that Henry Cavill grew a big mustache for Mission Impossible that they had to poorly CGI out so all of those new scenes stand out.

It's a much lighter, looser story, and the villain is different and the movie Justice League was originally meant to be a part 1 and part 2. This Snyder Cut will be at least 4 hours because it'll be two movies together. Some people have a conspiracy theory that Marvel's Infinity war and endgame were "inspired" by the Snyder Cut version but there's no way to know until it comes out next year. Usually it's other studios (Dreamworks) copying Disney movies so it'd be the turnabout situation.

Excited for the dark and gritty Edward Scissorhands reboot

Though for as good as The Batman looks, I am just totally out on The Rock's star persona at this point. Was not too high on Shazam and not excited for Black Adam either. Will The Rock even let himself be portrayed as a villain? He always seems to wanna go clean-cut and wholesome.

One of the villains in the Snyder Cut looks like the bounty hunter dude from Ready Player One. There is legit a lot of scenes in there that aren't from the original movie at all though.

I'll probably enjoy the Snydercut in the way I enjoy most of Zach Snyder's movies, just watching the trailer. They usually seem to cut together pretty well in that format.

I think the only Snyder movie I ever liked was 300...

To be fair... I liked it a lot.

I'm genuinely excited for the Snyder Cut. Why? I don't even know to be honest. The trailer looks good but that doesn't mean much. It must be my optimistic nature.

Man of Steel has one of my favorite trailers of all time. Hell, that BvS trailer with the fart-rock guitar is pretty rad too. It's a shame how the movies seem to turn out, though :*(

I wasn't sure about the new Batman, but they promised the world's greatest detective and the trailer appears to confirm that.

I'm excited to see Collin Farrell looking like my alcoholic uncle.
