Hey why don't we make a thread like they had at fictionalley with all the pairings that we like and that are actually good stories.

 

I love the idea of Harry/LSD. You know he's going to come out of this war either dead or with some serious mental damage. Drugs are the most obvious solution.

My top 3 are;
Harry/Luna she may not be canon proven but she is the best situated to handle the level of weirdness and "crap rolls downhill" that is Harry's life. For the most part she is very serene in canon aside from her interest in cryptozoology. That serenity might be what Harry needs most, an unflinching unquestioning acceptance of life as it comes. Plus I refuse to think that she wouldn't be a very interesting lay.

Harry/Tonks I like the personality and playfulness of Tonks. She is an auror, and therefor not a wilting lily who will need to be saved every five minutes. I dislike the cliche of no one ever wanting her to be herself, because that would be an obvious step in the relationship; find out how ugly the kids would be. If written with Tonks as the seducer, please let her drop him when she gets what she wants. If Harry is the seducer, it ought to be a long courtship.

Harry/ Hermione Sorry to everyone who hates Herman the control freak, but I like it. Harry as an idiot makes no sense but unless someone he would listen to (like a girl friend) encourages him to study and learn, it is a sad reality. Then of course there is the fact that he is one of her only two male friends and no one could love a Weasley. Logical, good for plot, and they have a few things in common as well.
