I have had an idea and decided I had too much on my plate as it was. So I am going to share the wealth and see if someone can come up with something.

What I am looking for is a sort of Crime Lord Harry story. One possible reason is that a Post!Voldemort's Death Harry is working for the aurors and Amelia Bones, head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement has decided to send someone to infiltrate the organization.

However you do it, Harry is reluctant to participate in the beginning. The story is to slowly progress showing Harry slowly becoming more attracted to the lifestyle.

This is NOT to be confused with being seduced by the "Dark Side." Harry is to be seduced by the Money, the Drugs, the Power, and the Women. The glamor of the Crime Lord life, rather than anything else.

It is optional for him to decided to play his way up the ranks and eventually become the Crime Lord, but unnecessary.

Requirements for the story are as follows:

*Dumbledore is alive. He is not a manipulative evil bastard. He is the epitome of the light side. He genuinely cares for Harry. He is to be a guiding voice, ensuring Harry doesnt fall to the seduction of the life of crime.

*A pairing may be use in the beginning, but once the seduction begins, Harry will be a manwhore, fucking anything bitch that is attractive, has a cunt, and spreads her legs for him. (Smut not necessary.)

*Post Voldemort is preferred as it can be accomplished most easily, but again not required. What IS required is thus: The conflict of the story is not Harry Vs Voldemort. It is Harry Vs Lure of Criminal Syndicate life. Thus Voldemort is entirely unimportant.

*Most important: No needless character bashing.

*Harry isnt a whingy angsty bitch, but he also isnt the terminator. He has limited powers, even if they are on par with Dumbledore. The Golden Rule is: Always assume there is someone more powerful than you waiting around every corner.

*Harry has both Slytherin and Gryffindor tendencies. That means he doesnt kill for the sake of it and he isnt completely stupid. Sarcasm and small amounts of cunning are at his disposal. As is a thick skull, hard enough to break doors and not be damaged. Keep him in character and slowly change it.

*Harry does not become an evil fuckhead in three chapters.

*Optional: You may have Harry slowly begin to learn the dark arts, but he is not a miniature dark lord in the beginning. His knowledge is finite, limiting him to what little he learned in HBP.

*Bonus Points: Harry knocks boots with Fluer. Additional points if its a secret thing with Bill in the next room.

That's a great idea with Harry being in his early 20's but you would definatley have to make this a long fic and actually show Harry climb through the ranks of the mafia and if he gets to the top, how he runs it.

 

I like it, kind of reminds of Scarface in a some ways. Its a great idea, delay it until you have finished your major works and start this.

 

Hence the title Scarhead, I guess. Question, it says Dumbledore ensures he doesn't fall to the lure of the crime family lifestyle, so will there be a huge confrontation at some point, or should they be on amicable terms?

 

I'd love to see it done only if it would have so muggle influences. The 'crime family' would have to span both worlds.

The only person I could see doing it right would be LT2000. It would have to have some of Charlie Dash Blue's style of writing, that whispy, light, but intense sensual voice.

Scarface is where the idea came from, originally. And i had thought of delaying it. But better to offer it up as well as keep it written down somewhere in case i forget.

Amicable terms until he really starts getting into it heavy like, then I would predict a confrontation.

That should be a challenge all on its own. I can't be the only one who desperately wants to read a fic like that.

 

If I was a better author.... I'd take this in a pinch, unfortunatly I'd probably screw it up, that and I know nothing about how a crime family is run...

I think that you would have to do some research into how organized works, what the heirarchal tree is like, and so on. For the most basic overview movies like The Godfather Trillogy, Casino, Scarface, Donnie Brasco, etc. would be recommended viewing.

 

I'll do it.

I just won't post it on the internet and ruin the challenge with my awful writing. Instead I'll keep it on my hard drive and maybe email it to Vash when I'm finished with it.
