    Void Sorcerer's 2nd Challenge.

It has been 5 years since the death of Albus Dumbledore in the end of Harry Potter's sixth year at school. Harry/Ron/Hermione did set out for their mission together, and looked for the Horcruxes like death was on their heals. Discovering them one-by-one until they had collected them all.

The quest has changed them however, and in the time they had spent researching and bettering themselves for the finale confrontation. Harry has found himself slipping further and further into the arts that he swore he would never use.

The darkness that he swore he would never use, now commonly found itself at the tip of his wand, being used more and more. The darkness around him grew and grew, leaving his friends worrying for his safety and sanity. While at the same time, breaking the bond that they had so closely formed slowly yet surely.

The months turned by into years, and Ron and Hermione found themselves unable to keep up with Harry's mad pace. And after a time, gave up completely, and made their ways back home to their families, waiting day after day for a letter that would; with any luck bring them the news of their hero's success.

The years have flown by, and you now return to Harry, returning to the Barrow, with news that he has destroyed the last of the foul things. (Nagini)(Remember, five years so Harry is no 21) But his time in the dark has changed him. No longer does he have the looks of cheer that once so easily slipped onto his face. No longer does he smile when one praises him, and no longer does he have the same views as he did before.

He does not give a reason as to why he has returned, simply broods day and night as if thinking of a intriguing problem he must solve. But the casual glances he spares to no one but Ginny leave her wondering, “What is Harry planning?”.

Her love for Harry has not stopped, and she would have done anything to get him back. However, it is deeply buried behind the hatred and resentment which she feels for him, for the way he treats others both good and bad. There is no mercy in his actions upon facing Death Eaters, and nothing but resentment for the light.

The horizon has darkened even more with the return of the Lights champion, but can one not always find hope in the dark? Or shall one simply have to adjust in order to survive in it....

    Rules:

    1. Harry has used Dark Magic and is strictly addicted to them now after almost five years of use, he will use them more then any other spell to accomplish his goals.
    2. The Horcruxes are destroyed, all of them. (Except Voldemort)
    3. The order did not fall apart as most would think upon Dumbledores death. Instead it grew stronger and a new bond was formed between its members making it a constant stick in Lord Voldemorts side. Even so, they are loosing, and the light find themselves loosing more and more ground as time passes.
    4. Voldemort is an intelligent being, not some retard fuck tard who has his plans constantly foiled. He is active himself, and while he does the planning, also does get out from time to time to kick some ass!
    5. Ginny is a key part to this story. (If you didn't pick that up above) She is going to be the secret of Harry's power, however it is up to you to decide how. The reason behind this is simple, Dumbledore stated that Love is the power that Harry posses over Voldemort, I wish to see why.
    6. This love relation ship I want to see built slowly and easily able of being broken. Harry has gone “Dark” and as such, does not believe anymore in the virtues of the light side and its values. As such, he does not find Ginny's attitude appealing, and vice-versa. (Get some good insulting in here if you would be so kind) Yet for some reason they find themselves being drawn to each other.
    7. Harry is not “Super!Harry” yet, and while he needs Ginny for that, (Remember, the way is up to you) he is constantly learning new things upon which to aid himself in his goal.
    8. He is not some genius who instantly knows exactly what he is doing when he rejoins the Order (Whether it be leader or grunt, you decide) He is going to try and do things his way. As such, this is going to create some problems, and some accidents are likely to happen.
    9. Dumbledore is dead, he is not coming back, period.
    10. Harry is not the richest man in the world, and while he may have money, it is not enough to buy the planet...

Well I do believe that is all, if I think of anything else, I shall post it in awhile.

P.S. Excuse my grammar/spelling, I know it makes it hard to read, but bare with me.

Hmm, interesting. You really like exploring the corruption of Dark Magic, don't you? I think that it's an original idea that should be explored by a competent writer. If somebody wrote this, then I'd read it.

DLPer's- Before we get into an arguement about Ginny, let's remember that if one of us writes it, then we can avoid and dodge the cliche's of a standard H/G story. So unless you have reasons of hating the character apart from cliche's (either Canon or Fanon), let's not start with the "Gin-slut? No way!" without any explanations following it.

    Good work Void.

-I'd use Ginny as a conductor for love, which Harry can transform into pure destructive force (Black Mages Hadoken++)

Heh, the ultimate dark magic, effecting the whole world (in a bad way, of course), powered by love.

Hey, wouldn't using Ginny that way almost certainly render her (at the very minimum) unable to feel love ever again, provided it doesn't kill her outright? It sound like a winning combination to me.

Given the effect of the Hadoken Black Mage normally uses, wouldn't one possible side-effect drop a meteor (or similar large object) on Ginny's location, thus probably flattening the Burrow and most of the other Weasley's as well?
At the very least, you could get rid of 4 of them that way, if the writer felt so inclined.

Nice idea. The suspicious glares he shares with Ginny could be his plot to sacrifice her to get him the power he needs.

Thanks for the positive feed back all. I do so love it when people like my "work".

Shezza: Well done on stating that, I should have done so myself, but as I was in a rush for time, and had to leave....well you know.

To all you have so kindly put forth the idea of using Ginny as his channeling point or such, as long as it follows the rules, and is worth reading go for it!

I just got home from the airport, and am kinda tired, but I will reply more in the morn after I get some sleep.

    Peace out all,
