What if Grindelwald had beat Dumbledore in 1945 and then masqueraded as the Headmaster of Hogwarts to control the minds of the students. Tom Marvolo Riddle was his right hand man before he became Lord Voldemort who was a serious threat to Grindelwald's larger plans.

To make matters even more confused Harry Potter the boy who lived is really Tom Riddle's son making him a descendant of Slytherin. Grindelwald was frightened by the thought of the combined forces of Voldemort and his son. He acted fast and ordered Peter Pettigrew to betray the Potters on Halloween. He then put the boy with his muggle relatives to be abused. For four years he had been manipulating Harry.

Until a letter arrives from Sirius Black who had faked his death explaining everything and Sirius is Voldemort's protege.

The story can start from there.

    Rules

Both Grindelwald and Voldemort are smart people not some AK happy megalomaniacs

Sirius Black must be like the Joker from Batman

Harry has to take his father's path aided by Tom, Sirius

Please make up a plausible reason what Grindelwald wants

No slash please make up a suitable pairing.

Good luck and I hope you like this

Voldemort doesn't have any heir: he's bald.

Also on the News today: this challenge isn't very good.

    1. It's been done before.
    2. Grindelwald had just defeated his main opponent. Why would he suddenly retreat and give up his campaign, rather than pressing his victory?

    Also done before. Many times.

I thought Harry was Voldemort's son? Why was he with the Potters? And why was Grindelwald threatened by a baby? Who killed the Potters?

This plot device is more used that Marie M's vagina.

This is the sole good bit.

In other news: Voldemort would never father a son: he does not share power, and expects to live forever so has no need of an heir.

    P.S.

    Fail.

    Stupid.

    Stupid.

    Even more stupid.

    WTF?

    Jesus, WTF?

That would be the cherry on the cake.

I do like this... in some twisted parralel universe where I went through a lobotomy.
