    The Downadup Worm Hits 3.5 Million Windows users so far and counting.

    Tips to prevent infection, install the October patch from microsoft, run a good firewall and or hardware router, firefox webrowser (or another besides IE), thunderbird email (or other that is not outlook).

    There are applications out there to clean up infected systems, many of the news reports mention one or more.

    Meanwhile I am sure many Mac and Linux users are cackling and chucking over yet another outbreak microsoft os has been hit with. However I spread the warning and Lulz here. Yosh they are the weakest link.

    Dual boot for the win. Never do your internets under windows, that's what I say. Not to mention that my faggy Indian ISP launches an almost-adware every time I launch the windows client. Linux has become a matter of survival.
