I do think the universe could provide so much more. The scope of the series was always limited as it played solely in the United Kingdom and there could be so much more. Going back to medieval times or even so far as showing the story a 100 years in the future. I think I would have appreciated more stories in that world

 

I wish she'd stop writing in the harry potter universe. At this point all her contributions are just more things we have to pretend never came into existence.

 

In all seriousness, it was one of those times where it was better to quit while she was ahead, and if I remember correctly, after the series was over, people were hanging on her every word for whatever pointless detail she would invent. If she kept it like that, she could have an interview, with anyone, whenever she liked. I don't think making new material is necessary for getting new generations into the universe.

 

She hasn't stopped.



I wish FB was a book series, honestly. Her movie scripts kinda suck.

 

Dumbest thing to do to lightning in a bottle is try to shove more in. The books were the ultimate lightning in a bottle.

 

I'm going to be honest, if I'd stumbled on them at my current age, I don't think I'd have liked them nearly as much.

Probably despised them, more likely.

Very much time and place for me, and I 'matured' out of YA/school stories.

 

Atleast she could write other fantasy books. I find her a better fantasy writer than most authors in the genre.
